For their latest box Latest In Beauty have teamed up with the British Beauty Blogger to bring us The Dream Box. This is the third box Jane, of British Beauty Blogging fame, has curated (and the first with LIB) and it is a belter!
Jane has selected fifteen amazing beauty products for inclusion in the box which she has personally tried, tested and endorsed. Some are well known, trusted products from brands you will already know, whilst others will be new discoveries. Box is a bargainous £19.95 and includes free postage!
When I heard on Twitter that this box would be launching I knew it was a must have, even before knowing what was in it. Then a couple of days before launch day Jane posted an Instagram. Peeking out from the box in the photo I could clearly see products from two brands I loved and if I had any doubts (I didn’t) it was then I was definitely sold. Armed with the knowledge that the two previous boxes had sold at lightening speed I headed straight over to Latest In Beauty and placed my order.
Inside the box is the following:
Essie Spring Collection Nail Lacquer (Full Size, RRP £7.99) – Included was one of 6 shades from the Spring Collection, selected at random, and I got Style Hunter which is a vibrant hot pink.
Makeup Revolution Palette (Full Size, RRP £4) – Makeup Revolution is relatively new to the game but has built up a cult following due to it’s purse friendly, yet amazing quality products. Some people are even likening the quality of the eyeshadow palettes to those from Urban Decay. I’m really happy to see this included and even better as out of the 4 variations on offer I got Sticks And Stones, the really bright palette I’d had my eyes on!
KNEIPP Herbal Bath (Full Size, RRP £7.95) – This is a new one to me but sounds great. I can’t wait to try it as I love baths. Again it came in a few different varieties and I got the zingy Mandarin & Orange one.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Full Size (RRP £19) – This collagen infused mascara claims to add 1,944% more volume thanks to it’s formula and hourglass shaped brush. Mascara is one of my staples so we’ll see how I get on. If it’s worthy of it’s own write-up you may see one at some point!
Lola Kabuki Brush (RRP £19) – The inclusion of this practically covers the value of the box. Amazing. And everyone needs a Kabuki Brush for blending!
Bourjois Creme Blush (Full Size, RRP £7.99) – Bourjois is a brand that’s really stood the test of time. Their Creme Blushes are beautifully soft and easy to apply. I love this! I got a soft coral colour – Nude Velvet.
Bee Good Honey & Wild Water Mint Cleansing Water (Full Size, RRP £10) – I’m yet to try this new cruelty-free UK brand, or a cleansing water, but have wanted to for a while so this is a brilliant product.
Elemis Treat Your Feet 20ml (approx. value £5.60) – Everyone wants their feet to look their best this time of year so this is perfect. Plus it’s by Elemis. I don’t think I need to say any more than that!
L’Occitane Lotion Divine 50ml (approx. value £10) – I love L’Occitane and already have some travel sizes of the Divine skincare range so this will fit in nicely. Apparently you use this after cleansing and toning but before applying your serum.
Ren Satin Perfection BB Cream 3ml (Approx. value £1.56) – I’m always happy to try a new BB Cream as I often wear them instead of foundation.
La Roche-Posay Eau Thermal 50ml (Approx. value £3.50) – I don’t know very much at all about this brand but this is their Thermal Water. I will use it with the Clayspray Masque I got in last month’s You Beauty Discovery as it recommends using one of these.
Janjira Art of Siam Hand Wash 50ml (Approx. value £3.50) – It’s nice to see a box contain a hand wash rather than a hand cream as I have tonnes of those. This is a good handbag size if you dislike the cheap soap in public toilets and is also Paraben and Sulphate free! Mine is Thai Lime & Ginger and it smells so refreshing.
Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream 3.0g (RRP £4.90) – Benefit is everywhere recently, which isn’t a bad thing. In fact I love their little skincare products, the bottles and pots are beautiful, and that’s before delving into the luscious contents!
Roger & Gallet Gingimbre Rouge 1.5ml – I’ve never tried Roger & Gallet perfume so this is a welcome first. I has a quite a sweet fruity smell but the zingy citrus and warm ginger notes stop it from smelling too cloying.
Charlotte Tilbury Kiss (Sachet) – This is a one use sample of Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick. Mine is a deep red called So Marilyn.
As you can work out from the prices listed above the box is worth just over £100 and is amazing value at £19.95, especially considering a massive seven out of the fifteen products are full size! The box also contains brand offers so you can continue to discover the brands and save money long after you’ve used the products.
There is not one disappointing or unusable product in this box for me, which must be a first. It’s like Jane really listens to her fans and fellow beauty lovers and so knows exactly what people do, and perhaps more importantly don’t, want to see in a beauty box. I cannot fathom how they have crammed so much value in the box but I won’t complain!
This is the first British Beauty Blogger box I’ve ever bought. Have you had any others? How did they compare to the latest?
