Once again Birchbox have sent out PR Samples of the July Birchbox way before revealing their official spoilers. I love a good spoiler but I wish they’d try and keep the lid on things a bit more and do a gradual release rather than allowing bloggers to reveal the whole box.
This month we have Sun, Sea and Sand as a theme, but it doesn’t look anywhere near as successful as the Global Strikers theme from June. The nearest thing to sea we get is Gilchrist&Soames English Spa Sea Kelp Extract Mineral Bath and I’m not really seeing how the rest of the items fit this theme. Other products that may feature in this month’s box are Weleda Millet Shampoo, Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream, LAQA & Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil, and Ultradex Oral Spray. Although as always contents may vary.
Tenuous theme aside though and it does look like a decent box, with a wide range of products and quality brands. I like Weleda and Balance Me so I am definitely pleased to see those brands making an appearance, and I’ve never tried LAQA & Co so that would be a welcome new discovery. I find the inclusion of the Ultradex slightly bemusing though – is that just me?
Overall I don’t really think this is as impressive as the May or June box but Birchbox did set the bar really high last month! I am still really looking forward to getting my box and excited to see what contents I get.
