The Body Shop Hand Creams

Apparently the hands can really give away a person’s age and as a result of this claim I’m a self-confessed hand cream addict. I look at my mum’s crepey hands and I know I’m probably genetically predispositioned to having aged-looking hands so I really layer the cream on! Two of my favourites are from The Body Shop; I love their generous sizes and the packaging, but their formulas pack a punch too.

The Almond Hand and Nail Cream (100ml, £11) is a lovely, nourishing cream. Containing sweet almond oil, panthenol, brazil nut oil and shea butter it is rich, but non-sticky, and very effective when I need an intensive treatment. The indulgent yet soothing scent of the sweet almond makes it a perfect nightly treat.

The second hand cream in my current arsenal is the Wild Rose Hand Cream (100ml, £11). I like the fact that this has an SPF, which definitely makes it my go to hand cream for daytime use. Containing rosehip oil this hand cream provides much needed moisture to mature skin and helps to reduce the appearance of brown spots. The soft, fresh wild rose scent is perfect for the summer and doesn’t smell artificial or too overpowering as some rose fragrances can. Again this is deeply hydrating yet non-greasy.

In The Body Shop range you will also find the Hemp Hand Protector and Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream, which I’ve tried and have also been impressed with.

Have you tried any of The Body Shop hand creams?

Thank you for the recommendations! I’m just coming to the end of my Avon hand cream & was looking for something new. I love Body Shop stuff so I’m looking forward to trying these. x
