After seeing some gorgeous swatches of their polishes I took the plunge and ordered myself the Lacquer Love box from So Susan Cosmetics. The Lacquer Love boxes are released every two months, at a price of £14.95 which includes postage, and they contain a selection of 4 colours, some of which may have a different finish.
So Susan is a highly pigmented nail lacquer formulated to be chip-free and to remain intense with shine from the first application. This is a 4-Free lacquer – containing no Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde or Formaldehyde Resin.
The formula has a quick drying time and is enriched with Rosehip fruit oil to moisturize and strengthen your nails and the delicate skin around it.
Each 9ml polish is packaged individually in its own box so if you get a colour that isn’t a shade you would wear it’s easy to gift them to someone.
I was a little bit naughty and couldn’t resist purchasing the previous boxes, as well as the current one, but a 20% voucher code softened the blow!
The boxes I got and the shades they contain are pictured below:
March 2014 Colour Your Spring
May 2014 Summer Vibe
July 2014 Jet Set
Each box comes with a bonus makeup item from So Susan’s sister company Jelly Pong Pong which is great as it’s a brand I’ve always been tempted to try but never quite gotten round to. I got an eye shadow base pencil, a lip blush (which looks similar to Cliniques Chubby Stick) and a Mineral Foundation.
Have you tried any So Susan lacquers yet? You can purchase the Lacquer Love box and find out more about So Susan Cosmetics here.
I’m hoping to try one or two of the colours tonight. Any requests for a polish you’d particularly like to see swatched?
