Argan Dew Review

Argan Oil has been big news in the beauty industry for some time now, but eight years ago, when I holidayed in Morocco it was pretty much unheard of in the UK and only really niche or high end brands were using it.

I recall that after being convinced of the oils nourishing properties and its many uses by an enthusiastic trader in the local Souk I bought a few bottles of 100% Argan Oil to bring back home. I fell in love and immediately wished I’d bought more, especially as it was so much cheaper than anywhere it could be bought in the UK!

Now Argan Oil makes a regular appearence in my beauty regime, so
when I was recently sent some samples to try from Argan Dew* – a range of products infused with Argan Oil – I was looking forward to seeing what their products bring to what is now a very crowded market place.

Of its key ingredient, Argan Oil, Argan Dew explains that the exceptionally rich essential nutrients contained within the oil rehydrate hair in the most natural of ways. These nutrients – unsaturated fatty acids including Omega 3 and Omega 9 – fortify the protein gelling structures of your hair, thus improving hair strength and repairing split ends caused by dryness. Argan Oil also has high levels of Vitamin E and natural antioxidants which are essential in restoring and renewing previously damaged hair cells.

Replenishing Hair Mask (250ml £29.95) Argan Dew Intensive Replenishing Hair Mask uses only the purest oils from the nuts of the Moroccan Argan tree. Applied to wet hair, this mask repairs and nourishes dry or damaged hair, including colour treated. The Hair Mask softens your hair and gives it a silky radiance, and the oil forms a protective layer on your hair, keeping it safe from styling stress, sun damage, or natural brittleness.

Using as an intense weekly treatment I found the mask really did leave my hair soft and shiny, and rinsed leaving no heavy residue.

Miraculous Argan Oil (100ml £24.95)
This super rich Argan Dew Oil can be used as a daily treatment for all types of hair. The Argan Dew Oil penetrates the hair pores and along the entire length of your hair and roots; repairing, nourishing and strengthening each strand. Argan Dew Oil also acts as a protective coating from airborne pollutants, leaving your rehydrated hair looking and smelling fresh and healthy.

Frequent use of Argan Dew Oil can solve problems such as a lack of shine, dry hair and even frizzy hair. Using Argan Dew Oil on a regular basis will also benefit the hair long term, keeping it silky smooth, strong and in excellent condition.

Again this oil left my hair looking very glossy and feeling silky. Its light texture meant that a few drops went a long way on my short hair and it was very easily distributed. Despite using it daily there was no build-up, which had been of concern to me.

Argan Dew Oil and Argan Dew Intensive Replenishing Hair Mask is not tested on animals and is SLS/SLES and alcohol free. At present Argan Dew is only available through their website.

Is Argan Oil part of your beauty routine?  What do you use it for and which Argan Oil products do you swear by?
