Recently I am really loving products that contain honey – it’s one of nature’s wonders and has so many amazing qualities – and given that it was National Honey Bee Day last week I thought I’d gather together some delicious honey products to inspire you.
Burt’s Bees is a brand I use a lot but as I usually use the Almond Hand Cream their Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream* is a new one for me. It’s 99% natural so as you might imagine the scent is spot on, but nice and subtle. The cream is quite light, sinking in easily, yet still hydrating.
Fair Trade, Cruelty-free, Vegan-friendly and packed full of natural oils, Original Source shower gels have always been a go-to, especially in my student days when my budget was tight. Even now I pick one up now and then when one catches my eye or I feel like a specific fragrance in my shower. When I saw this Shea Butter and Honey one I had to pop it in my shopping basket and I love it’s comforting scent.
I really like Montagne Jeunesse masks for their ethics and their use of high quality ingredients. They’re purse friendly and fun to use when you fancy a pamper. This Manuka Honey Peel-off mask harnesses the natural anti-antibacterial quality of the honey to cleanse and soothe, making it a great weekly ritual for stresssed out skin.
Finally we have a twist on Burt’s Bees Original Lip Balm with a honey flavoured one. Fortified with Vitamin E, the Honey Lip Balm* is naturally flavoured and provides gentle, effective care for you lips. Non-shiny the formula is great for men too.
I currently have my eye on the Body Shop Honeymania and Honey Bronze ranges, as well as the Good Things Manuka Honey skincare, and would love to try them out sometime. Have you tried them? I’d love to hear your verdict!
To help promote National Bee Day, Burt’s Bees are offering a free Milk & Honey Body Lotion on all website orders totalling £25 plus (no code required, valid until August 31st).
