Nails of The Day – Nails Inc Hanover Street

It’s been a while since I did a post about what I’m wearing on my nails so I thought I’d rectify that by featuring my latest manicure – today using Hanover Street by Nails Inc.

This polish is a deep metallic turquoise and it is very striking. I love the way it catches the light and how its colour varies ever so slightly in different lights.

Sadly, although I have many of them, I don’t particularly rate Nails Inc polishes for their solid colours, because I find they can be streaky and require quite a lot of effort to achieve a good finish. On the other hand their glitters are beautiful and their metallics and pearlescent polishes apply effortlessly with no dragging. Hanover Street was no exception and I achieved full coverage of incredibly glossy colour in 2 coats.

Now before you head over to Nails Inc in search of this polish I should add that Hanover Street was discontinued some time ago, which is a shame as it’s a gorgeous colour and goes on so smoothly. But that was the old. What do Nails Inc have in store for their customers in 2014?

Nails Inc have just undergone a major rebranding exercise, to mark its 15th anniversary, replacing these familiar looking round bottles with a modernised logo and sleeker, more ergonomic bottles. The new look bottle consists of a concave heavy glass bottle and luxurious metal cap with a thicker brush for a more professional finish, and it contains 15ml of polish which is 40% more polish than the previous bottle.

As Nails Inc introduce more new ranges such as their collaboration with brand Ambassador Alexa Chung and their fortified Nail Kale range you can expect to see more of these new bottles in the future.
