Latest In Beauty – The Beauty Bible Loves Box

I’m quite late reviewing “The Beauty Bible Loves” box from Latest In Beauty simply because I ummed and ahhed over buying it for a month but finally I could resist no more and it landed on my doorstep last week. As it is currently Organic Beauty Month it couldn’t have arrived at a more apt time!

This box sees Latest In Beauty collaborating with Jo Fairley and Sarah Stacey, authors of The Beauty Bible, to bring us a fabulous natural beauty products they’ve tried, tested and can’t live without. Available for £19.95 (plus p&p) the box is packed full of deluxe samples and full sized products and is an a steal if you consider the value of the contents exceeds £70!

So what has made it into the Beauty Bible Loves box?

Bellápierre Volumizing Mascara in black – Full Size (RRP £19.99)
This paraben-free mascara promises volumised lashes and a long lasting formula, and its clever brush design ensures full coverage. Everyone needs a classic black mascara so this will definitely fit into my makeup routine.

Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm – 2ml (Full Size RRP £14.50)
We are told this cleansing balm is rapidly gaining a cult status in the beauty world but sadly the sample size is very small and not really sufficient enough to really put it through its paces. Nonetheless I’m happy to sample this.

Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask – Full Size (RRP £7.99)
This is an oil regulating, detoxifying mask that also works to lift and firm the skin. Approaching my mid thirties and looking to step up my skincare regime this sounds just what I’m looking for. I already use and love some Dr Organic products, and for such great products their price-point is very reasonable, so I’m looking forward to adding this to my beauty regime.

Essential Care Creamy Coconut Cleanser – 30ml (Full Size RRP £14.50)
Coconut Oil is much lauded in the beauty world as an excellent cleanser, that works to gently lift dirt, grease and makeup without compromising the skin’s delicate balance. This cleanser has a lovely fresh aroma, and leaves the skin feeling clean but without that taut, dry feeling some cleansers leave you with.

John Masters Organics Lavender Rosemary Shampoo and Citrus & Neroli Detangler – 30ml each (Full Size RRP £16)
John Masters’ beautifully scented Lavender Rosemary Shampoo gently cleans without harsh ingredients such as SLS. Instead a blend of 15 organic certified ingredients and oils leave hair looking healthy, shiny and manageable.

The Citrus & Neroli conditioner is very lightweight and surprisingly can be used as a leave-in conditioner. It smoothes and detangles without weighing the hair down. This contains a whopping 17 certified-organic ingredients.

John Masters haircare products feature regularly in SoukSouk and Love Lula beauty boxes and I know from reviews I have read they have a good reputation. I was therefore very happy to finally be able to sample a couple of the products for myself.

PitROK Crystal Deodorant Wipes x 20 wipes (RRP £2.49) – Based on pure natural mineral salts, these convenient and effective deodorant wipes are kind to your skin and provide instant refreshment and protection. I like this idea as wipes are perfect for freshening up when travelling or camping.

RITUALS Miracle Scrub Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba Ultra Softening Hand Scrub – 75ml (RRP £7.99)
We religiously exfoliate our body and face but our hardworking hands so often get overlooked.  I can rectify that right now with this gorgeous hand scrub enriched with rejuvenating Ginseng and strengthening Ginkgo Biloba. Nourishing oils leave hands that feel silky-soft and hydrated.

Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena & Lavender Hand Therapy 25g (RRP £5) – After using the hand scrub we have a gorgeous hand cream by Crabtree & Evelyn to seal in even more moisture. Containing shea butter, macadamia nut oil and antioxidant-rich vitamins C and E the formula is super conditioning. Verbena combines with the lavender to create a wonderfully refreshing and uplifting scent.

The Beauty Bible Loves box is a lovely collaboration and is excellent value for money. Once again Latest In Beauty have proved that they really are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to bringing us boxes jam-packed with high quality products at an amazing price.

If you’ve been inspired during Organic Beauty Month to try more natural beauty products you can head over to Latest In Beauty where this box can still be ordered.
