I was incredibly surprised last week when a brand new Memebox arrived for review. The email usually sent to accompany each shipment only came the day after the box arrived and with the changes they are making to some of their programs over in Memebox HQ I wasn’t expecting to receive any new boxes at present. Not knowing what the box contained I was really excited and even more so when, upon opening the familiar hot pink box, I found it was the Superbox #53 My Honey Box*.
Today I have for you a review of a skincare range kindly sent to me by Birchbox. Meaningful Beauty is the brainchild of supermodel Cindy Crawford, who wanted to bring the professional, high end formulas of internationally renowned skincare specialist Dr Sebagh to women everywhere in an effective yet affordable range.
You know Christmas really is approaching fast when you get the urge to dig out your Nails Inc Snowflake Effect nail polish and play around with some effects!
Birchbox are really getting earlier with their Spoilers and have already put out a sneak peek of their December box. It looks fantastic!
After what feels like quite a long wait November’s Lacquer Love Box from So Susan Cosmetics has arrived. This months theme is The Modern Muse and I’ve got four very stylish polishes to show you; Mint Cream, Black Velvet, Amethyst and Imperial Blue.
For November the bottles have had a slight overhaul and instead of the usual black caps they have silver ones, which I think make the polishes look much more chic and upmarket and I hope we see these going forward. But let’s have a look at the polishes themselves.
I’m not a subscriber to Glossybox‘s regular monthly beauty box, despite being tempted on numerous occasions, but when I saw previews of their latest limited edition box, which is a collaboration with Harvey Nichols, I knew I had to get one. As you’d expect from this very high end store the Glossybox for Harvey Nichols box epitomises luxury beauty, packed full of amazing brands such as Laura Mercier, NARS, Dermalogica, Benefit and Elemis to name a few, and worth an enormous £150. For £35 (or £30 for subscribers) the box was an absolute bargain!
The box officially launched on November 17th and within hours had completely sold out. Having successfully snapped one up all that was left was to await my box of treats.
Jane AKA the British Beauty Blogger has done it again with her fourth beauty box. Like the last box this has been produced in conjunction with Latest In Beauty and it proved so popular it broke the internet. Yes, Latest In Beauty had to take the box down and set up a sort of reservation system to ease traffic – congratulations Jane, I think that means this box is a success!
Luckily I made the waitlist and bagged my Dream Box 2 the next day for £22.95 including postage. Promising to be choc full of well known, great quality brands I knew I was going to be more than happy with the box and its arrival just 3 days after ordering was met with much excitement!
Let’s take a closer look at the contents.
I was contacted recently and asked if I would trial the FaceB4 system and feature the results on my blog. Knowing how much of a concern spots and blemishes can be, even to those who have left their teenage years quite some time ago, I was definitely interested in seeing how the system faired and reviewing it for my readers.
FaceB4 is manufactured by Medichem; the people behind a number of well known brands including the very successful Makeup Revolution line. I knew my skin therefore was in safe hands, but what about the claims FaceB4 make about reducing spots, blemishes and redness?

The idea behind Ariane Poole Cosmetics was to create a makeup range that was not only fashionable and innovative but quick and easy to use, and that solved your everyday makeup dilemmas.
Today I have for you a review of a brand new product from FOM London that launched only last week.
As a natural beauty fan with an obsession for hand products I was completely over to moon to be one of the very first people to try the Age Defying Hand Serum* before it went on sale and having heard good things about FOM London skincare I couldn’t wait to preview this new addition to their natural skincare line.
