My December Pink Parcel landed this week; the most practical of my subscription boxes this one offers everything you require for your periods, with a few added beauty treats, for the rather bargainous price of £9.95! Each month I’ve been extremely impressed by the items they include and the overall value of the boxes, but dare I say it, December’s box is the best yet!
Again there are the usual sanitary products that are included each month and are catered to your individual requirements; giving you the choice of brand and absorbancy, however more exciting is the selection of beauty treats, which in this month’s box were particularly fantastic.
First up is the W7 Camouflage Kit (£2.99) – This is a brand I’ve actually never used but this product looks like it’s really good quality for the miniscule price tag and it is definitely going to be a handy addition to my makeup regime with 5 customisable concealer shades.
Secondly we have St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion (50ml, £9.99) – This is light, velvety lotion that gives you an instant golden, wash-off tan. Perfect for boosting pale winter complexions!
The final beauty product this month is a L’Oreal Superliner Gel Intenza in Golden Black (£9.99) – This is a 24 hour glide-on gel eye liner that you apply from the pot using a brush. I love and wear eyeliner daily but have never tried this kind of eyeliner so I’ll be really interested to see how it applies and the ease of use. I especially like the subtle golden shimmer running through this eyeliner which sets it apart from the usual black liner.
To conclude we have some yummy treats to give us a much needed boost, and this time there are three:
In a change to the usual Doisy & Dam chocolate we have Montezuma’s Smooth Milk Chocolate – This is a generously sized mini bar of organic milk chocolate and it’s a brand I’ve wanted to try for a while. I can’t wait to tuck into this, probably when my toddler is in bed so I can enjoy it in peace.
Another new brand this month is a bag of Pukka Womankind Tea which makes a difference from the usual, no less enjoyable Teapigs. This is a blend of Cranberry, Rose and Sweet Vanilla and is from a brand whose teas I have tried and enjoyed before.
Our final treat is a pack of Peppersmith Fresh Mints and i’m really pleased to see these as they’ll slip into my handbag and be great for freshening up when I’m out and about.
Unbelievably the team at Pink Parcel have really surpassed themselves this month; bringing us a varied bundle of quality goodies and the box is great value to boot. If you’re interested in treating yourself to a Pink Parcel you can find out more here.
