It’s been a couple of months since we last saw a collaboration between Latest In Beauty and GLAMOUR magazine, but never fear beauty box fans because they’re quite literally back with a spring in their step to bring us a brand new offering; the GLAMOUR Spring Edit.
From top to toe this box contains a whole host of fresh new beauty picks, as well as cult classics, all of which promise to make the transition into Spring that little bit easier. With bright makeup, refreshing skincare and floral scents we can finally say goodbye to those dark Winter months and hello Spring! Join me as I take a closer look at what products GLAMOUR Beauty Director Alessandra Steinherr has chosen for her latest edit.
Nuxe Crème Fraiche 24hr Soothing and Rehydrating Mask 50ml (RRP £18.50)
Used for ten minutes, once a week, this mask promises to sooth and rehydrate the skin for a round-the-clock radiant complexion. After the harsh winter weather i’m sure this will be a welcone treat for thirsty skin.
Elie Saab L’Eau Couture 0.8ml
Included in the box is a tiny sample sized Elie Saab perfume for you to try; it’s light and makes the perfect spring-time scent.
Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask 75ml (RRP £7.65)
Get shinier, smoother locks in just five minutes with this indulgent hair treatment from beauty industry favourite Moroccanoil. Smoothing the rich, creamy formula on mid lengths and ends, waiting five minutes then simply rinsing is all it takes to rehydrate dry and damaged hair.
ModelCo Crème Rouge Cheek & Lips in Just Peachy
This creamy cheek and lip tint can be dabbed on to give a flush of colour to washed out complexions. The super-soft, blendable texture means you can easily build up the colour as required. I have a few ModelCo colour cosmetics and it’s a brand I like so this is a great addition to my stash.
Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in Golden Beige (RRP £6.90)
Kiko is a brand I’ve heard lots about recently but never tried. This is a velvety soft eyecolour which smooths on without dragging the lids and is super blendable, it also promises to stay put for 8 hours. I received Golden Beige, a warm champagne shade, which will be perfect worn all over the lid for daytime or to add highlights to smoky, evening eye makeup.
Beauty UK High Brow All-in-One Brow Definition Kit (RRP £3.99)
The trend for well defined brows shows no sign of abating in 2015 and here is everything we need to create the brows we’ve always wanted. The palette from budget beauty brand BeautyUK includes colour-matching powders, a clear wax for fixing brows in place and tiny pair of tweezers for tackling any stray hairs!
Rimmel Oh My Gloss Lip Gloss in Snog (RRP £5.49)
Available in 5 shades I got Snog, a shimmery raspberry pink with an ultra shiny finish. One of the biggest Spring trends is gloss, although for me it never went away as I love lipglosses.
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Enamel in Full House and Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat (RRP £6.99 each)
From a selection of three shades of Colorstay Gel Envy I received the gorgous teal shade called Full House, which is probably my favourite colour in the range. This is an ultra-creamy polish that dries to a long-lasting, high-shine. To finish off your Spring-inspired manicure we also have the Diamond Top Coat, which guarantees to seal your colour with a ultra-glossy, diamond-strong coat.
The box also includes a generous 12 month print subscription to GLAMOUR magazine, plus free access to the iPad and iPhone editions.
The GLAMOUR Spring Edit really is a fantastic box and I take my hat off to Latest In Beauty and GLAMOUR magazine for yet another successful collaboration – long may it continue!
