After a very successful launch last month cruelty-free makeup brand So Susan is back with their March LipLove Bag; this month called “I Love To Travel”. This month’s LipLove Bag is all about travel and daring to push the boundaries of your imagination, so expect bold shades, multifunctional products and foolproof travel-friendly sizes that aim to help you streamline that usually overflowing makeup bag, and replace a mish-mash of beauty products with just a handful that will see you through from dawn till dusk.
First out of the bag is two eye makeup products.
Fairy Lashes Curl by Jelly Pong Pong (RRP £18) – Fairy Lashes is a lash-curling mascara with a unique formulation including Moringa Seed resin which dries on the lash, holding the curl for long-lasting results. The petite brush helps coat each and every lash, separating them and giving definition to the eye. This isn’t a mascara for adding va-va-voom, but if you like pretty lashes with lots of curl and separation this product is for you. I love the delicate, doe-eyed look it gave my eyes!
So Susan Liquid Powder Shadow Palette (RRP £11) – This palette is perfectly proportioned for travel, fitting neatly into your handbag. The cream-to-powder texture promises to make your shadows last longer, and is very moisturising; boosted with Vitamin K to deminish dark circles and Copper Peptide to promote collagen and elastin growth around the delicate eye area. With eight different shades, and mattes to shimmery metallics, this palette should be all you need to take you from day to night.
So Susan Lip Dome in Rhubarb (RRP £10) This long-wearing lip crayon contains Hyaluronic Acid and Tripeptide-1 that help increase lip volume and prevent loss of elasticity and it’s also infused with anti-oxidant rich Goji Berry and Mangosteen extracts, to keep that youthful smile for longer. The texture is highly moisturising, making these Lip Domes so comfortable to wear.
The Beauty Crop Blush Duo (RRP £11) This duo contains two shades of blusher, a shimmery pink powder blush and a deep coral cream blush, and I think this is great that they’re different textures. The blushers are smooth, very blendable and highly pigmented, and you can wear the two shades alone, or as I sometimes like to do layer the powder over the top of the cream blush to add more depth to the colour.
As a bonus So Susan have thown another lovely jewellery item into the mix this month with these stunning feather earrings. I’m a big fan of statement earrings and these are a beautiful shade of royal blue. Definitely the perfect bohemian summer accessory.
The So Susan Lip Love bag is a refreshing new addition to the beauty subscription market as it’s the only one of its kind to focus solely on makeup. It’s great for makeup fans or those that are stuck in a rut and want to shake up their makeup look. This month’s collection of beauty products really does hail the start of spring with their bright, jewel-like shades, and I love that the line-up encorporates a full makeup look; containing treats for the eyes, lashes, cheeks and lips. Once again all this is tucked neatly inside a So Susan canvas make-up bag which is not only sturdy and practical but perfectly pretty!
Priced at £14.95 this bag is great value and has me already chomping at the bit to see what next months bag brings! You can find out more about the LipLove subscription here!
