Jane Cunningham AKA the British Beauty Blogger is back with a new box, but this time focusing on one brand – Clinique.
Produced in conjunction with Latest In Beauty and priced at a bargainous price of just £18.99 the British Beauty Blogger Edit Clinique proved to be extremely popular and sold out in record time. Featuring five classic products from this well-known brand, plus including two full sizes, it’s not hard to see why.
First up we have a full sized High Impact Mascara (RRP £17.50). This has to be my favourite Clinique mascara and one I’ve worn for years. High Impact mascara does exactly what it says on the tin, delivering intensely volumous lashes in just a few strokes!
The next full size product out of the box is the Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Plumped Up Pink (RRP £17). Infused with Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil this highly moisturising lip colour helps protect and pamper lips with immediate and long-lasting moisturisation. This is the perfect half-way house between a lipstick and a lipgloss.
Next we have a generous travel size of my all-time favourite makeup remover; Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips (30ml). This is a bi-phase remover that gently but effectively removes even stubborn, waterproof mascara. I’ve been using it for years and i’m yet to find a product that beats it!
The fourth product is one that forms part of Clinique’s famous 3-Step regime. The Liquid Facial Soap Mild (30ml) is a clear gel cleanser that gently lathers up and lifts off the daily grime and grease. It is ideal for dry or combination skin and leaves the skin feeling thoroughly cleansed but not taut.
The third step in Clinique’s 3-Step skincare routine is moisturise and here we have the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ (15ml). The Lotion+ is a relatively new formula which offers not just the usual moisturising properties of the older version but now also helps strengthen the skin’s own moisture barrier thereby keeping more moisture in.
Another classic Clinique product in the line up is the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (15ml). This is a light, comfortable cream-gel which provides 24 hour hydration; plumping skin, filling out fine lines, and banishing flakiness and tightness. The hydrating but non greasy texture makes this product a great all rounder and perfect for all skin types.
Last but not least we have a miniature of Clinique’s Happy Perfume Spray (4ml). This is a bright, cheerful floral fragrance that has been a favourite summertime scent of mine for years. Although it is considered quite a classic now it still feels fresh and modern. It’s definitely a signature scent.
As if that wasn’t enough once you’ve tried all the products in the box you can treat yourself further with an exclusive £10* voucher also included inside the box.
This is a fabulous box either as an introduction to Clinique or for confirmed fans of the brand and the line-up, including both makeup, skincare and a classic perfume, is perfection.
