ESPA Naturally Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

Spa experts ESPA have over 450 spas based in 50 countries, but in order to give customers that at home spa experience they have also developed a range of spa quality products, harnessing only the purest natural ingredients, which they also sell in all their spas. Most recently they added to their range the Naturally Radiant Tinted Moisturiser and as a fan of lightweight makeup bases I was super excited to try this new product.

ESPA Naturally Radiant Tinted Moisturiser (50ml, RRP £32)* is available in four shades. I was sent the two lightest to sample, both of which are a good match to my skin, however I favour the lightest shade which is Nude, as it has cooler undertones. Blush has pinker undertones and would probably be a better match in Summer when my complexion gets a little warmer.

If you read my blog already you will already know that in Summer especially I prefer the lighter, more natural coverage of a tinted moisturiser or BB cream. They’re my go-to when I want a pared down, “no makeup” look and are a great alternative to foundation. Another bonus aside from the sheer coverage is the added skincare benefits and ESPA Tinted Moisturiser contains Sunflower Seed concentrate to hydrate and strengthen the skin, White Lupin to increase elasticity and skin firmness, and Spruce Knot Extract which helps to prevent the skin from free radical damage. In addition Shea Butter and Hyaluronic acid help to provide day-long hydration and UVA and UVB sun filters, enhanced with Argan, Vitamin E and Chamomile Extract, provide sun protection of SPF 15.

The texture of the tinted moisturiser is lightweight, moisturising and very easy to blend into the skin, just a very small amount is enough for the whole face. I really enjoyed the barely there coverage and lovely natural glow it gave my skin, although as someone with an oily complexion I felt the resulting finish was a little too dewy for my liking. If you have normal or dry skin however then this product would be fabulous for you.

I’ve got a few of these little samples too and I’ve given them a few goes now but I just can’t seem to make it work with my skin which is a shame as I love ESPA and really wanted it to work, it’s just not all the oily skin friendly. I did try mattefying it with some pressed powder but the overall look wasn’t what I was going for! Boo!
