Naturisimo Makeup Discovery Box

Last month I featured a Discovery Box from online beauty retailer Naturisimo, which was a great little introduction to some of the brands Naturisimo stock and it definitely left me wanting to discover more. Well luckily for myself and other natural beauty fans Naturisimo brought the Discovery Box back this time featuring a lovely line up of make-up treats. Again priced at £9.95 including postage the box it was a complete steal! Read on to find out what was inside.

Inika Organic Lip Tint in Candy (RRP £15.50) – This is a full size lip tint and the shade Candy is a soft, shimmery pink. The texture is so soft and hydrating, and the colour is quite subtle so perfect for a natural daytime look.

Bellapierre Kabuki Brush (RRP £23.99) – This is a super soft Kabuki brush made with synthetic hair, that helps you effortlessly blend or apply loose powder and bronzers. With a recommended retail price of £23.99 this made the box incredible value!

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain in Forever Pink – This is generous sample size of Jane Iredale’s multipurpose lip and cheek tint and packed in a metal twist-up case it feels super-luxe. The shade is a subtle pink that blends into cheeks and lips for a gentle flush of colour that self-adjusts to your skintone.

Jane Iredale Last Mascara in Black Ice – Another generous sample size, this mascara really does add length to eyelashes, helping open up the eyes and define them beautifully.

Green People Age Defy+ Tinted Moisturiser in Medium – This is the UK’s first certified organic anti-ageing DD cream and I loved the hydrating texture and slightly matte finish. Sadly Medium is far too dark for me, and I felt quite orange, but it does come in Light too.

Madara Tinted Fluid in Sunflower and Moonflower – The final product is another sachet of tinted moisturiser, but this time we have two shades to try so you can find one that is hopefully more suited to your skin tone.

Unfortunately the Kiss & Makeup Discovery Box sold out very quickly, unsurprising given the value, but if you sign up for the newsletter at www.naturisimo.com or follow them on Twitter you’ll be the first to know about any new box launches!

Did you manage to bag one of the boxes? If so I’d love to hear your verdict!

Sorry but can’t agree with the “generous” sample sizes. The lip stain it TINY!!! If I even tried to put it into my make-up bag or work bag, I’d never find it its so small. The brush is great, love that but the rest is meh! Compared to Latest in Beauty which crams the box full and is only £5 dearer plus includes REAL samples sizes, this for me was a major disappointment.

Sorry you were disappointed with the box, however in Naturisimo’s defence they do state the contents and sizes in the description so you know what you’re getting before you purchase.

Because of your blog it introduced me to this box. I went for the June Travel Essentials box and love it! I took advantage of adding in some samples a great feature! I saw your Jane Iredale Mascara and it was available as a sample. It’s a great mascara but the design (like many others atm) pushes the mascara off of the wand as it is replaced. Did you experience this problem? Really annoying as I have to wipe away the mascara and this is then just thrown away 😦
I’m a fan of Caudalie and the June box had 2 of their products in and I purchased an eye cream sample too. Adding in my 5 samples, it came to just over £14 which included P&P – which I was amazingly impressed with the speed of – this box for me was a real bargain and joy. I’m seriously considering cancelling my subscription box to invest in future ones from Naturisimo. Thanks for blogging about the May box.

Hi Paula! Yes my mascara does the same – it almost feels like the wand is too big. Such a shame as it’s a nice mascara otherwise. I got the Travel Essentials box, my review of that should be going up tomorrow. I think the Travel box is the best so far, brilliant sized items and a good selection. Glad you were happy with yours!
