Lookfantastic Beauty Box July 2015 Edition

The first of my beauty boxes this month has arrived. Lookfantastic are always quick off the mark with their boxes, saving subscribers that agonising wait, and as always beneath the sleek black box is a fabulous array of products selected from brands available on Lookfantastic’s website.

This month’s line-up features quite a few familiar brands, which have featured in boxes before, but two of the brands are new to the Lookfantastic Beauty Box and one of them is actually a product I’ve been eyeing up recently so I was very pleased to see it. So join me as I reveal the contents of July’s box.

First up is a travel-sized 10ml pot of Trilogy Everything Balm. Trilogy has just launched on the Lookfantastic website and this balm is already a firm favourite of mine (I reviewed it here). This multi-purpose balm has so many uses and is 100% natural so it is ideal if you like to avoid nasties in your skincare. I’m pleased to have this small pot as it saves me carrying my full size balm with me.

The second product is another multi-tasking product. The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (10ml) is one of those products that has quickly become a cult classic and the product that Nuxe is probably best known for. A few month’s back we recieved the shimmery version, and I quickly fell in love with it; this one is the original, and contains no shimmer, but is in every way as lovely.

Next up is a product from another brand that is a regular in the Lookfantastic box. This generously sized 50ml Balance Me Pure Skin Facial Wash boasts 98% natural ingredients and is suited to normal and combination skin. Blending balancing grapefruit and petit grain, with soothing frankincense essential oils, calming spruce knot extract and anti-oxidant rich moringa and rice bran oils this gentle, wash-off cleanser promises to thoroughly cleanse, relieve congestion, and help to brighten and illuminate dull skin.

The fourth item is a 40ml sample of Monu Fiji Facial Treatment Oil, a soothing facial oil specifically formulated to smooth and comfort the skin whilst preventing dehydration. Used at night this refreshing blend of Bois de Rose and Patchouli essential oils will ensure you awake to a calmer, firmer, more radiant complexion. I love me a good facial oil so i’m looking forward to trying this out!

The penultimate product is one I’ve actually been toying with buying so i’m over the moon to have the opportunity to try it out first with a 50ml travel sized version. The Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo utilises mild ingredients to gently cleanse hair of grease, dirt and product detoxing the scalp and leaving hair feeling soft and purified. You only need to use it once a month to help maintain you hair’s natural beauty.

Finally we have a mini Lord & Berry Ultimate Lip Liner. Lip liner is one of those beauty products I’ve never really got the hang of and I seldom, if ever, use it. Still it’s nice to see a makeup item in the box, even if it is one I’ll probably pass on to a friend.

This month’s box contains a fabulous assortment of beauty saviours; from rescuing lacklustre complexions to restoring tired hair to its former glory there is a treat for every beauty addict and I’m thoroughly excited to put all the products through their paces over the coming weeks! Once again it’s tremendous value, although I would still like to see less repetition of brands. What do you think of July’s line-up?
