I hold my hands up; usually I don’t get too excited by exfoliators, so when this month’s Libbie Club box included one I was a bit non-plussed.
The Bioeffect Volcanic Exfoliator (RRP £30)* however is quite special, in fact I had what I can only describe as an OMG moment when I first used it.
You see I always cleanse before I exfoliate – this removes excess dirt and grease, which you don’t want to be rubbing into your skin when you exfoliate – and my skin felt clean enough after my cleanser, or so I thought. I reached for the Bioeffect exfoliator however and my skin felt so incredibly good afterwards; it was an epiphany (and a bit like the famous When Harry Met Sally scene)!
The Bioeffect Volcanic Exfoliator is a brand new clarifying facial exfoliator containing Icelandic micro-crystalline lava and apricot kernals, which deep-cleanses and buffs the skin, leaving it soft and refreshed. The exfoliating particles are of suitable size to gently remove dry and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, and the formula also reaches down into the pores softening and loosening ingrained dirt and sebum. It really does deep cleanse but doesn’t leave the skin feeling at all dry, taut or irritated.
Although it may seem a bit of a chore exfoliation is a really important step in any skincare regime. It aids cell turnover which in turn enables any face oils, serums and moisturisers you use to be absorbed better thereby work more effectively, and it also increases circulation to the upper layers of the skin leading to a brighter, more youthful complexion. Once you find the right exfoliating product, your skin will thank you for it; rewarding you with fewer breakouts, a more radiant complexion and even less visible fine lines.
Even though I use my Magnitone Lucid daily I still love using a manual exfoliating product once or twice weekly for a deeper exfoliation and I’ve certainly met my perfect match with Bioeffect’s Volcanic Exfoliator.
Right now The Libbie Club are offering 20% off the RRP so you can enjoy this amazing exfoliator for just £24! Head over to my Libbie Club Page for this and more great deals!
