One of my favourite subscription services has to be the Pink Parcel. It goes one step further than most subscription boxes do, not only delivering a box of wonderful goodies to brighten up your day, but also fulfilling an important monthly need. For tucked inside every Pink Parcel are enough sanitary products to last the month (and then some). But of course you really don’t want a tampon review do you? So i’ll move swiftly on to reveal this month’s treats!
The first thing item that jumped out at me – probably because of their vibrant colours – was the packet of Bandzee Hair Ties (RRP £4.95) which are designed to be snag free and prevent damage to hair! The set I got are neon, which are perfect for summer, and i’m really looking forward to giving these a try now my hair is actually long enough to tie back.
Next we have a 30ml travel Green People Scent Free Sun Lotion (value, £3.20). It’s made with natural ingredients and is suitable for sensitive skin so will be especially suitable for my little girl. The size is ideal for my handbag or her school bag too.
Next up is an unbelievably generous full sized Organic Surge Eye Cream (RRP £18.50). This 100% natural cream is packed with skin loving nutrients, including organic shea and cocoa butters, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, aloe vera and natural antioxidant alfalfa extract, which gently rejuvenate and nourishe the delicate the eye area, helping to improve skin tone and make your complexion look fresher and more youthful. I’m a big fan of Organic Surge so i’m excited to add this to my skincare regime.
The beauty products keep on coming and the fourth item is the L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara in black (RRP £10.99) – I’m pleased to see this mascara has a silicon wand because recently I’ve found traditional brushes difficult to work with to avoid clumping and I love the way that silicon wands seeming glide through lashes. I’m not overly taken with the red and gold packaging, which is a little tacky, but I’m looking forward to trying this out.
Finally If you’re wondering (as I was) what the little silver cocktail shaker is it’s a Tequila Sunrise Lip Balm from The Lip Gloss Company (£2.99), which is very cute!
Moving on we have the lifestyle items. Usually, we’re treated to a bar of chocolate but this time the chocolate comes in the form of a Cocoba Signature Hot Chocolate Spoon (£2.75) which you stir into hot milk to make a delicious hot chocolate drink. The tea in this month’s Pink Parcel is Novus Citrus Chamomile. Chamomile tea is calming and soothing and I find it perfect for drinking of an evening.
Each Pink Parcel also contains 25 tampons (or sanitary towels if preferred), tucked into a neat little drawstring bag, and subscribers have a choice brands including Kotex, Lilets and Tampax, as well as selecting when and how long their cycle is, ensuring those essential supplies are delivered just when they are needed.
July’s box really is packed to the hilt with a fabulous selection of beauty products, worth in excess of £40! For £9.99 including delivery (or £5.95 for your very first box) the Pink Parcel really is unbeatable value.
