Max Factor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick

I have a Blogger confession – in all my thirty plus years I’ve never really tried Max Factor makeup. Somehow, despite the adverts and walking past displays in Boots, the brand never really felt like it was aimed at me; in my teens it seemed too mature, then in my twenties too glamorous, and so Max Factor ended up passing me by.

I realise that this is a huge oversight, that Max Factor enjoys a massive worldwide market and has a great reputation for producing quality, reasonably priced cosmetics, and I’m happy to have rectified this recently by trying a few of their latest products; the first of which are the Max Factor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks.

Max Factor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick (RRP Β£8.99)* promises to provide up to 8 hours of vibrant colour and moisture. Its silky-soft formula, which glides across the lips, is infused with lip conditioners and nourishing oils, and despite being deeply pigmented it doesn’t bleed, crack or accentuate dry patches.

L – So Luxuriant, R – So Vivid

The Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick is available in 12 gorgeous shades, and the two I have here are So Luxuriant, a deep pinky toned red with a shimmer running through it, and So Vivid, a bright coral-pink colour. Both are very pretty colours and definitely live up to the promise of comfortable, long lasting wear, but if I had to pick I would have to say So Vivid is my favourite because I prefer lipsticks without a shimmer.

I’m really impressed with these brand new Max Factor lipsticks and I’ve obviously missed out by not paying more attention to this brand until now! Going forward I will certainly spend more time browsing the shelves of Max Factor next time I’m out shopping, acquainting myself with their other products and perhaps even adding a couple more shades of Lipfinity to my collection.

Max Factor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks are available now at Boots and Superdrug stores nationwide priced at Β£8.99 each.

Oh, that seems like an incredible lipstick!
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever tried MaxFactor products either! Just like you, I’d just kinda pass by them… these are on my to-buy list, though, they seem incredible!

    Lovely post! πŸ™‚

Max Factor foundations are always good quality, the first foundation I liked as a student (back in the mid-late 90’s!) was the Lasting Performance foundation. It’s still sold today, which shows how good it is. When I’m looking for drugstore foundations it’s one of the places I look at.

From what I remember it’s suitable for all skins and gives good coverage. It does run to orange so best go a shade lighter. A newer foundation is the Skin Luminizer one, which gives better colour but is more drying on the skin, which is not so good for me as I need something more moisturising, so I was disappointed as the colour and texture is so good. Their mascaras are also very good, a classic is the Masterpiece in the gold tube.
