The Body Shop have just launched their most indulgent and premium line to date with the brand new Oils Of Life range, which became available in stores on September 1st.
Consisting of an Essence Lotion, Facial Oil, Cream and a lighter Gel-Cream the Oils Of Life range features three precious seed oils, harvested from the furthest reaches of Egypt, China and Chile, which work together to boost radiance and replenish moisture. The seed oils are cold-pressed to preserve their utmost potency and ensure their affinity to skin, and in the Oils of Life collection are blended into the most beautifully textured, indulgently scented products to ever grace the shelves of The Body Shop. I’m really excited to feature two of the products in today’s post.
Intensely Revitalising Bi-Phase Essence Lotion (160ml, RRP £15) – Featuring the signature blend of Black Cumin seed oil, Camellia seed oil and Rosehip seed oil this unique bi-phase (oil and water) Essence Lotion forms an essential first step after cleansing. Simply sweeping this daily lotion over the face provides instant replenishment, moisture and suppleness. Refreshing and nourishing, the lightweight formula revives and feeds the skin, leaving it looking brighter and plumper.
Intensely Revitalising Cream (50ml, £25) – Once again the infusion of the three precious seed oils, combined with skin-perfecting micro-pearls, lends this silky cream incredibly nourishing and reviving properties. Dullness, fatigue and signs of ageing all appear visibly reduced by the light and comfortably textured cream, which is readily absorbed and non-greasy.
This is probably the most unique range The Body Shop has launched to date and I love the premium and grown-up feel of the products. Finally I feel that The Body Shop is growing up with me and as a thirty-something year old is still as relevant brand as it was when I was a teenager lusting after Dewberry and White Musk!
If you’ve tried the Oils Of Life range I’d love to hear what you thought.
