MBotanicals Balancing Himalayan Salt Scrub

One of my favourite things is discovering new skincare, especially from smaller British brands that focus on natural formulations, and with September being Organic Month it seems only apt that I feature one such brand today.

MBotanicals is a range of 100% natural, organic skin and bodycare, handmade in London. Priding themselves on safe, effective products their cruelty-free, all natural formulations are thoroughly researched and tested, with all ingredients meeting ECOCERT certification standards. Free of synthetics, fillers and chemicals MBotanicals utilise only natural plant preservatives. In addition only very small batches are produced at a time ensure products reach you at their most potent.

The MBotanicals Balancing Himalayan Salt Scrub (RRP £18)*, is a natural and organic body polish for all skin types. Handmade and featuring Himalayan salt, Mango butter, Sunflower seed oil, Vetivert, Ylang-Ylang, and Lime it is refreshing, restorative and uplifting.

The texture of the scrub is almost like a paste, and unlike some other salt based scrubs that crumble everywhere, it is easy to gently rub onto damp skin, allowing the Himalayan salts to slough away dead skin cells and the oils to melt into the skin replenishing moisture. The slightly cool, tingly sensation as I rub the scrub in makes way to soft, bright, cleansed skin. My preference is to use this scrub in the bath where I can soak afterwards in the beautifully soft, nutrient-rich water. Allowing the gorgeous scent of Ylang-Ylang, Vetivert, and Lime to wash over me I feel thoroughly pampered and relaxed.

I love this product and the whole ethos of MBotanicals. Their sustainable and ethical approach is certainly something more brands out there should strive towards, and I can’t wait to try more from the range!
