Pink Parcel – October 2015

I have to admit, it’s not often a subscription box captures my interest and keeps me excited for any length of time. Usually the great boxes become so-so and the “amazing” turns into a “pretty good”, but with Pink Parcel my enthusiasm is still as strong as it was with my first box. Perhaps because it is a box which fulfils an essential need, delivering not only some lovely treats but also necessary sanitary items each and every month, making it fun and practical!

For October Pink Parcel have teamed up for CoppaFeel!, a cancer awareness charity I have featured on the blog before, so the box feels even more jam-packed than usual, with a sticker, badge, self-check guide and sachet of I Love… Perfectly Peachy Shower Gel as bonus treats. Also making a welcome reappearence is Bandzee with a set of limited edition hair ties (RRP £4.95). But what other treats await? Let’s take a look!

First up in this bumper box is a full size Revlon Nail Enamel in Gray Suede (RRP £6.49). This is a glossy mink coloured nail polish flecked through with minute silver particles and it’s such a universally flattering shade. Next we have a very pretty MUA Amour Eye & Face Palette (RRP £5) featuring 10 eyeshadows and two cream highlighters. The third and fourth items are two 10ml samples of Amie Purifying Facial Wash and Matte Finish Moisturiser, perfect for travel.

October’s box keeps on giving and moving on are even more goodies including a Pink Parcel branded Hand Sanitiser, a Mad Beauty Pop Heart hand warmer and Mini Nail Files, and finially tasty treats in the form of an OmBar Coco Mylk Feel Good Chocolate and TeaPigs Melt Away Chocolate Flake Tea (which in my excitement fell onto the floor and I forgot to photograph)!

Of course the main point of Pink Parcel is the delivery of sanitary products and included is an ample supply of tampons or sanitary towels, a handful panty liners and a feminine hygiene product, which this month is a full size SASS Intimate Refreshing Mist (RRP £8).

Pink Parcel recently increased their monthly charge slightly to £12.99 but this still represents brilliant value. They now offer 3 delivery dates too to ensure that no matter where your cycle falls within a month, your parcel will arrive just in time. You can find out more about this unique subscription service on the Pink Parcel website.

I’ve been umming and ah-ing about subscribing to this (or maybe period box), but I think you’ve convinced me! Such a lot in the box especially considering you get your “essentials” as well
