Once again Latest In Beauty have joined forces with the British Beauty Blogger, Jane Cunningham, to bring you a box packed full of 15 amazing beauty products. Jane’s eye for spotting the best in beauty is still very much apparent in this, her fourth, box and it features a whole host of exciting beauty brands, from familiar names to some intreguing new discoveries.
The first product is a full sized Nuxe Prodigieux Eye Cream (15ml, RRP £18.50), a best-seller from this popular French brand. This eye cream featuring hyaluronic acid and blue everlasting flower promises to deminish fine lines and soothe away puffiness, leaving fatigued eyes looking brighter and more youthful. As a fan of Nuxe skincare I’m looking forward to trying this.
The second skincare offering comes from another familiar brand. REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk (25ml, value £2.75) is a lightweight cleansing milk that gently lifts away dirt and makeup. It is ideal for sensitive skin or those who find balms too heavy, and is perfect as we move into the winter months and feel the need to reach for something a little more nourishing.
A favourite natural beauty brand of mine is next out of the box. The Beauty Kitchen Love Me Wonder Balm (10ml, RRP £2.99) is an all natural multi-purpose balm packed full of nourishing cocoa butter and flavoured with warming Cinnamon. The Beauty Kitchen may be a brand that is unfamiliar to most but I’ve featured the Wonder Balm on the blog before and I’m so pleased to try another.
Excitingly for K-beauty afficionados Jane has included a Korean brand in the line-up in the form of the Erborian CC Cream (15ml, value £17). Erborian combines Korean skincare expertise with French heritage to deliver an amazing CC cream that is light, hydrating and contains SPF25.
What I love about the British Beauty Blogger boxes is the mix of high end and high street brands, and moving on we have drugstore favourite Maybelline with their brand new Dr Rescue SOS Nail Balm (8g, RRP £3.99). This product is a handy sized, easy to use nail and cuticle balm, and is sure to become a handbag essential as it rescues dry nails and ragged cuticles.
The next item definitely shouts highend. The deluxe sized BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Raise The Bar (value £7) has a sublime texture; it’s little wonder it made the box. The colour too – a deep russet with a slight shimmer running through – is gorgeous as we move towards Winter.
I love boxes that include beauty tools so the Crown Brush Pro Studio Contour Brush (RRP £9.99) is a very welcome addition. I’ve never quite mastered contouring but maybe now I will with the help of this super-soft brush.
The next product is from a brand that really knows how to make a great mascara. The L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara (RRP £10.99) really intensifies lashes, coating them in a blacker than black, smudge-proof formula. If you want va-va-voom lashes for the party season, this is your man!
I love being challenged by beauty boxes and I must admit this next brand isn’t one I’d usually seek out. The Collection Speedy Blush Stick (5g, RRP £3.99) however is a lovely blusher that has great pigmentation and a lovely, easy blendable formula. Proof that sometimes budget brands can perform as well as high-end names.
The next product is from a brand that I’m sure most beauty fans will have tried before. The sweetly scented Soap & Glory Mini Righteous Butter (50ml, RRP £2.50) is a best-seller, with its Shea Butter rich formula really softening and nourishing dry skins.
Moving on is another full sized product. The Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy (50ml, RRP £9) is a deeply restorative hand cream, with a crisp, clean scent, and it’s the perfect treatment for chapped hands.
If anything needs attention at this time of the year it’s our hair, so the next two products are essentials. The KMS California MOISTREPAIR Shampoo and Conditioner duo (75ml, value £4.50 each) are so moisturising yet rinse clean, leaving no product buildup (my pet peeve). My hair is really confused at the moment so I’m hoping these products are just what I need to sort it out!
The next item was one I was really pleased to see as I used mine up last month. The L’Occitane Almond Oil (35ml, value £3) is a beautifully scented and nourishing bath and shower oil, which emulsifys on contact with water and produces a soft, cleansing lather. I’m already really smitten with this product, which combines two of my favourite things; the sweet scent of almonds and the indulgent texture of an oil.
Finally we have a 2ml sample of Shay & Blue London Framboise Noire, a fruity scent reminiscent of ripe berries.
I must admit, when I first heard that a new British Beauty Blogger was launching I wasn’t planning on purchasing the box, but as soon as I saw the line-up and the incredible value I was sold. At just £22.95 including postage for over £100 worth of product this box is phenomenal value, and I highly commend Latest In Beauty and Jane for putting together such a stellar collection of beauty treats. Sadly, as expected this amazing box didn’t stick around long and is now sold out, but there are other fanastic boxes still available to pick from, or you can even build your own box of beauty delights, on the Latest In Beauty website!
