If there’s one company that really delivers the perfect beauty box time and again it’s Latest In Beauty. From their Glamour Beauty Edits to the British Beauty Blogger Dream Boxes every box they curate is packed full of amazing beauty discoveries.
The latest one I picked up was the Heart Beauty Essentials Box, a box which is literally bursting with generously sized samples and full size beauty essentials, and featuring some fantastic brands. Try as I might I could not resist the lure of this fantastic value of this box and the top-to-toe treats tucked inside it!
The first item is probably the one that really sold the box to me as I’m a huge fan of their Purifying range. Urban Veda is a natural skincare range formulated to Ayurvedic principles to help balance every skin type. The Soothing Hydrating Toner (150ml, RRP £9.49) is designed to calm stressed out skin and blends aloe vera, ylang-ylang and sandalwood in a beautifully scented, refreshing and balancing toner.
After toning the next step is to moisturise and here we have Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Moisturising Cream (15ml, value £7.50). Suitable for normal to combination skin this cream featuring Blue Everlasting Flower not only adds moisture to the skin but protects it from environmental aggressors such as UV and pollution.
At this time of year we all look forward to Christmas parties, but one thing we often forget when crawling in after a night out is to cleanse properly. This next product, Dirty Works Gently Does It Face Wipes (full size, RRP £2), makes cleansing a doddle so there really is no excuse for sleeping in your makeup, plus they’re free from SLS, mineral oil, petrochemicals, alcohol and animal derivatives – even better then!
Moving on what would the party season be without vibrant lips? So here we have
Rimmel Provocalips in Kiss Me You Fool (RRP £6.99), a highly pigmented, moisturising lip colour that offers up to 16 hours of corfortable wear.
Another party essential is vivid, high gloss nail colour and the next item, the LOLA Make Up Nail Varnish in Electric Purple (11ml, RRP £8), definitely ticks that box. This is a really gorgeous colour and at this time of year is a lovely alternative to the deep reds that we so often reach for.
Adding some grown-up sparkle to the box are the Kitsch Prima Ballerina Hair Ties (RRP £7.50), five Hair Ties that are designed to be super gentle to the hair and prevent kinks. They also look pretty just worn on the wrist.
The next product is the 99% natural Bloom and Blossom Bath and Shower Gel (50ml, value £4), which features vitamin E and cucumber extracts and is formulated to be extra gentle and suitable for all the familes. Perfect if you have sensitive skin or for little ones.
Up next is the Roger & Gallet Lait Sorbet Bois D’Orange Body Lotion (50ml, value £3), a delightfully scented, superbly nourishing body lotion. The silky, lightweight texture is readily absorbed yet a complex of natural oils and aloe vera ensures the lotion offers great hydration.
The penultimate item is a sample Philosophy’s The Microdelivery Peel In-Home Vitamin C/Peptide Peel (12ml, value £7), a two phase facial peel that helps resurface the skin, reducing fine lines and brightening the complexion.
Last but not least the final product is an Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Sheet Mask (1 Sheet Mask, value £5). I’ve used these sheet masks before and have been very impressed with the intense hydration they deliver the skin. The mask is packed full of essence and really does give the skin a boost, so if you’re complexion suffers as the weather turns colder then I’d really recommend using one of these masks as a weekly treatment.
So that is the Heart Beauty Essentials Box; ten gorgeous products carefully put together by the beauty team at Heart and Latest In Beauty and, I’m sure you’ll agree, at £17.99 a real steal considering the contents are worth over £60!
If you’re a savvy shopper in search of a beauty bargain and this selection impresses you, the Heart Essentials Box can still be purchased here.
