Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara

It’s that time of year when there are parties a plenty, from the annual work’s do and Boxing Day family gatherings, to the obligatory New Year’s Eve bash, and of course to go with your carefully chosen outfit to impress friends and family you’ll want to knock them dead with amazing makeup. Well just in time Max Factor has launched the ultimate mascara to wow you this festive season and I’ve been lucky enough to try it out over the last week in order to bring you the low-down!

New from Max Factor the Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara (RRP £8.99)* creates touchably soft, volumised lashes in a matter of strokes. The silicone wand is covered in dozens of short bristles which make light work of coating each and every lash without clumping, giving them a fuller, darker and more volumised appearence.

Velvet Volume has a thick, mousse-like texture, which has been specially formulated to leave lashes feeling soft and feather light, whilst staying flake-free. As someone who really likes to layer on the mascara it truely is a revelation compared to most mascaras which leave lashes heavy and stiff. This mascara really does go the distance too, lasting the whole day without so much as a single smudge, but even better is still easily removed by my usual micellar water.

Max Factor’s Velvet Volume Mascara definitely lives up to its claims of lengthened, volumous, and defined lashes and I’m hugely impressed. Priced at £8.99 it is an absolute steal, and compares as well or even better than mascaras retailing at twice the price.

For the ultimate party eye makeup pair the Velvet Volume mascara with the Max Factor Smokey Eye Drama Kit Eye Shadows.
