Lush Boxing Day Haul 2015 – Part One

This year’s Lush Boxing Day sale proved to be even more stressful than last year, as the website was completely swamped by Lush fanatics, eager to get their hands on bargainous bath bombs and limited edition favourites before they sold out – with a massive 50% saving on all their Christmas stock who could blame them?! In fact for a lot of customers it proved impossible to make a purchase and Lush took the brave step of pulling the site and, a first for them, extended the sale beyond the usual one day.

Luckily I was prepared to have a battle on my hands and with my finger poised on the refresh button and a lot of persistence I managed to make an order on Boxing Day and I’m so excited to share my haul with you today!

My first sale purchase was the Christmas Bath Time Favourites (sale price £19.98), an epically proportioned festive hat box that contains 10 bathtime treats. The selection featuring Yog Nog Bath Bomb, Avobath Bath Bomb, Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb, Father Christmas Bath Bomb, Butterbear Bath Bomb, The Experimenter Bath Bomb, Cinders Bath Bomb, Frozen Bath Bomb and Think Pink will fill many a tub with aromatic essential oils, mesmerizing colours and skin-softening butters. What more could a bath-enthusiast want?

Who can resist a cute retro styled Rudolph printed tin? I couldn’t and my next purchase was It’s Christmas Deer (sale price £13.25). This cute keepsake tin box hides a myriad of treats including the Golden Wonder Ballistic Bath Bomb, the sweet marzipan scented Snowcake Soap, the Magic of Christmas reusable bubble bar wand, Beautiful Shower Gel, and the classic Karma Kream Body Lotion.

You may have gathered by now that I’m a sucker for pretty packaging so next in my cart went Sleeps ‘Til Christmas (sale price £14.98). Featuring a spinning calendar lid this robust box can be used to count down the days until Christmas when you can then indulge in its contents, which features six Lush must-haves; Five Gold Rings Bubble Bar, Snow Angel Bath Melt, Intergalactic Bath Bomb, Father Christmas Bath Bomb, Frozen Bath Bomb and Peeping Santa Bubble Bar!

My final pick was Merry Christmas gift box (sale price £9.98). Tucked inside the very festive packaging are 5 of Lush’s most popular seasonal products including the Peeping Santa Bubble Bar, Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb, Dashing Santa Bath Bomb, Cinders Bath Bomb and my personal favourite the Golden Wonder Ballistic Bath Bomb.

Unlike last year where one of my items was cancelled I happily received both my orders in full and in record time, with them being dispatched via DPD’s next day delivery service. Robustly packaged, everything arrived safely too. I’d love to see Lush iron out some of the problems which result in the website crashing or orders being lost in the system however, perhaps by delaying the online sale by one day which would allow them more time to take down and relist the products, and would also encourage those who live near a store to shop there rather than online.

Did you take advantage of the Lush sale? I’d love to hear what you bought and if you like a good Lush haul post, I’ll be sharing with you my second Boxing Day haul later next week so keep your eyes peeled!

That’s a shame you didn’t get what you wanted, although there are still a few sale products and gift sets online and in some stores 🙂

I managed to spend over £50 to on the site. Stocked up on the cinders bath bombs as they are my favourites.

I got the lush legends box for Christmas but you can never have too much Lush can you?

So glad as I only ever bought melts, sticks and bombs before. Always a little scared to try something else Incase I didn’t like it and lush isn’t cheap. So will be nice to try some different things.

I tend to stick with the bath bombs and melts as my daughter loves them too, but I have tried some of the soaps and shower gels, and also have one of their solid shampoos and conditioners (which are ok but I probably wouldn’t get again).

What a fab haul. I was not happy that I couldn’t buy more in the sales, funds didn’t allow it, lol! I would have loved the big Christmas bath time favourites and the sleeps until Christmas one. This Christmas has given me a new Lush addiction though and I’m heading to my nearest store next payday to stock up, lol! Thank you for sharing your fab haul.
