Lush Boxing Day Haul 2015 – Part Two

Just over a week ago I wrote about all the amazing bargains I grabbed in the Lush Boxing Day sale, but that was only the half of it. Whilst prices were so low I couldn’t resist stocking up and placed a second order, ensuring that my baths will be well supplied with gorgeous products for at least the next couple of months.

First on my list for this second order was Firecracker (sale price £6.48) because it featured three products I hadn’t yet tried. This brightly wrapped boxs reveals three equally bright bathime goodies including The Experimenter Bath Bomb, the Intergalactic Bath Bomb and the ever popular Candy Mountain Bubble Bar. Although technically a Christmas gift this could easily have been gifted to someone for a Birthday as the wrapping, although bright and eyecatching, isn’t particularly Christmassy.

Another festive Lush favourite is Snow Fairy and even I couldn’t resist the allure of the Little Snow Fairy set priced at a bargainous £4.25! Containing Pink Fun and the ever popular Candyfloss scented Snow Fairy Shower Gel this will be perfect for my four year old who loves anything pink coloured. I have to confess though that unlike most Lush fans who seem to go mad for the Snow Fairy scent, it isn’t my favourite and I prefer Hot Toddy which is warm and spicy and perfect for the Winter months.

Packed full of moisturising Cocoa Butter the vanilla-scented Butterbear is one of my favourite Lush bath bombs, so I couldn’t help but pick up Butterbear (sale price £7.48), a keepsake tin filled with six of the cute little fellas! This bath bomb is really great for those with dry or sensitive skins as it isn’t highly fragranced or coloured and the cocoa butter in it really helps to soothe and lock in moisture.

A cult Lush product that I’ve never tried before is Fun so I had to rectify that immediately by adding Santa’s Belly (£4.48) to my order. This oversized bauble features a bar of Red Fun to brighten your bathtime and the brand new Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly. I love that I’ll be able to reuse the tin each Christmas, filling it with treats for my daughter.

Last but not least I picked up Winter Garden (sale price £8.47), a truly beautiful bauble tin that encloses three Lush essentials including the famous Rose Jam shower gel, Love and Light Hand Cream and Respect Your Elders soap. I was umming and ahhing over getting this one but I’m really glad I did as the large bauble really is gorgeous in the flesh and it contains a great mix of products.

So that concludes part two of my Lush sale purchases and I’m really glad a persevered with the glitchy website and got my orders in. I don’t live near a Lush store so this has ensured I’ll be stocked up for sometime without needing to make a special trip to Preston where my nearest store is!

I got the Firecracker, two Little Snow Fairy and Butterbear sets, too, and am really pleased with them. It was my second ever purchase from Lush and I’m so impressed. All of that for 20 odd pounds. Bargain 🙂
