AA Skincare Frankincense and Rose Clay Face Mask

As part of my beauty regime I always try to aim for a weekly pamper evening, where I really take my time to cleanse, exfoliate and apply a face mask. A really  gorgeous one that I introduced to my routine recently is the Frankincense and Rose Clay Face Mask from AA Skincare.

The Frankincense and Rose Clay Face Mask (RRP £7.98)* is a natural clay-based mask containing ingredients such as argan oil, almond oil, shea butter, rosehip seed oil, and marula oil. These nourishing and hydrating ingredients make it a really good option for mature skins or if your skin is feeling parched after exposure to cold winter wind and drying central heating.

With the deep cleansing qualities of the clay, the soothing properties of rose and intense nourishment from the plant oils the mask leaves the skin feeling incredibly clean, yet soft, supple and hydrated, and its scent from geranium oil, frankincense and rose oil is pure indulgence.

The mask has a quite a thick, whipped texture but spreads easily and feels cooling when applied. A thin layer is all you need to apply, but you can use a little more on congested or spot-prone areas, such as the nose, chin and jawline. Leaving the mask for around 5 to 10 minutes, the formula works to unblock pores, draw out any excess oil and feed the skin with its rich botanical ingredients. Unlike some clay masks which dry completely, making the skin feel tight and uncomfortable, this one stays slightly creamy. When you are ready you only need then rinse the mask off and pat the skin dry, revealing a fresh, radiant complexion that doesn’t feel taut or dehydrated.

This mask claims to be suitable for all skin types, so whether it’s pesky blemishes, redness, lack of radiance or dry, flaky skin that is your skincare bug bear, this product offers the solution and at a really great price point!

The Frankincense and Rose Clay Face Mask is available to purchase here.
