BooTea Teatox Review

Over the last 18 months or so Teatoxes have really took off in popularity with a number of brands all promising to detoxify your system, banish bloating and reduce the spare tyre, simply by drinking a cup of tea. I jumped on the Teatox bandwagon last year by trailling SlendertoxTea and now I’m giving another brand a try; BooTea which can be found at Holland & Barrett stores.

The BooTea 28 Day Teatox (RRP £37.99)* consists of a morning tea which you drink daily and a nighttime tea which you drink every other evening. The nighttime drink contains amongst other ingredients Senna Leaves that are commonly known to have a laxative effect and when combined with a healthy diet is said to rid the body of toxins, ease bloating, and leave you feeling more energised.

In my second installment of #BloggingSOS i’m looking at blog design and how you can create a blog that is easy to read, attractive and showcases your subject matter in the best way possible. Design of course is a very personal thing however there are a few things that can make the difference between a visitor to your blog become a regular reader or just clicking straight out and it’s those aspects I’ll look at today.

Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm

As a fan of aromatherapy, which she used to keep herself balanced whilst juggling work and home life, Lara Morgan was frustrated by the lack of practical aromatherapy products on the market. Fed up of leaking bottles and greasy, oil-based formulations Lara embarked on creating a range of multi-tasking, easy-to-use and truly portable products and together with business partner Fay Pottinger Scentered was born.

From personal experience Lara knows too well the pressures placed on women today, with stress levels at a high, so with their Stop. Inhale. Reset. ritual at the heart of each Scentered product you are encouraged to take a moment for yourself, breathe deeply and reset your mood, transforming the way you feel. One of their many targeted aromatherapy products is the fabulous Stress Less Therapy Balm, which I am sharing with you today.

YOU Beauty Box – February 2016

You may recall in last month’s review I said that You Beauty Discovery were undergoing a revamp and I shared some misgivings, sincerely hoping they wouldn’t change their fabulous beauty box concept too much. Happily I’m pleased to report YOU Beauty Box has remained pretty much true to its roots, still costing a bargainous £6.95 and giving subscribers a choice of two items from a stellar product lineup. In fact aside from a new website and name, the concept is unchanged much to the relief of its loyal subscribers. So let’s take a look at my picks from February’s shortlist.

Introducing Avene PhysioLift

I always thought I’d done pretty well aging-wise; I’ve reached my mid thirties with only the merest of forehead wrinkles and dehydration lines around my eyes, in fact most days I feel much the same as my eighteen year old self (and still not much wiser)! But then I was browsing though some photos of me taken just under 5 years ago when my daughter was born, and I thought “who is this fresh faced girl?” – I was not referring to the newborn baby.

Yes the realisation hit me that age has maybe not been so kind. Better than many I’d probably say –  I’m not a smoker or a sun worshipper – but still there is a definite loss of radiance and gravity is starting to take its toll on my jowls. So as part of the 30 Plus Blogs I was super happy when I was given the opportunity to try a new anti-aging range from Avène.

Designed to soothe, strengthen and replenish aging skin the new PhysioLift range contains clinically proven active ingredients designed to penetrate the upper epidermis and deliver results exactly where they are needed. Unlike so many products on the market for example the Hyaluronic Acid molecules used in PhysioLift are the perfect size for absorption, delivering intense hydration deep down.
