YOU Beauty Box – March 2016

This month’s YOU Beauty Box explores The Best of British beauty with a fantastic line-up of products, all of which herald from Britain, and alongside some iconic brands are some exciting new discoveries from lesser known names in the beauty business. So without further ado let’s delve into the March You Beauty Box and take a look at my picks!

If you were asked to name a classic British high street beauty brand one of the first names to roll of your tounge would surely be The Body Shop. I adore their famous body butters so when I spied the British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter (50ml) on the shortlist it had to be mine. The scent is divine and as you’d expect from a body butter the texture is deeply hydrating.

My next choice is the NUDE Skincare PROGENIUS Firming Youth Oil (5ml). Again this brand is one I really like, in particular their facial oils which are really effective; drip-feeding tired, dull skins with a blend of nourishing, high Omega content plant oils. The brand features completely natural formulas, untainted by artificial colours or fragrance, parabens or mineral oils, so their products are great if your skin is sensitive.

Each box also includes some great extras in the form of a travel sized Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Hair Healer (50ml) and a Ooharr Rosie Glow & Dead Sea Cooler Deep Cleansing Face Mask Duo (RRP £1.20 each). Ooharr are a brand new cosmetics range and I had the pleasure of featuring their masks on the blog when they launched just last week, so it’s really good to see them roll out to a wider audience via YOU Beauty Box!

The other shortlisted products for March are; COLAB™ Sheer & Invisible Floral Fragrance Dry Shampoo (50ml), Bee Good Lift and Brighten Eye Cream (5ml), Bloom & Blossom Bath and Shower Gel (50ml), Amie Skincare Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash & Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser Duo (10ml each), Nanshy 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge, and a LOLA Make Up by Perse Electric Purple Nail Polish.

The YOU Beauty Box costs just £6.95 per month including postage, which I’m sure you’ll agree is an absolute steal. As always I was impressed by the mix of quirky new brands and established brands that are recognised internationally. Whether you want to brighten your complexion, shake up your bath and body routine, or revive your tresses there is a product for everyone!
