Clinique The British Beauty Blogger Edit II

So popular was last year’s British Beauty Blogger collaboration with Clinique that Jane has returned with another fantastic box featuring this ever popular brand.

Produced in conjunction with Latest In Beauty and priced at just £20 the box features six of Clinique’s most popular products alongside two full sized makeup items which have only just hit the shelves. Unsurprisingly the box didn’t hang around long, as eager beauty connoisseurs with an eye for a bargain snapped up the boxes, but luckily I managed to get my mitts on a box. Let’s take a look at the contents!

First up are two products which form part of Clinique’s famous 3-Step regime. The Liquid Facial Soap Mild (30ml) is a clear gel cleanser that gently lathers up and lifts off the daily grime and grease. It is ideal for dry or combination skin and leaves the skin feeling thoroughly cleansed but not taut. Following it up is the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ (30ml). The Lotion+ is a relatively new formula which offers not just the usual moisturising properties of the older version but now also helps strengthen the skin’s own moisture barrier thereby keeping more moisture in.

The third product is a generous travel size of my all-time favourite makeup remover; Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips (30ml). This is a bi-phase remover that gently but effectively removes even stubborn, waterproof mascara and it’s been one of my favourite makeup removers for years.

A completely new discovery for me is the Superprimer Universal Face Primer (15ml). This is a lightweight, oil-free primer which creates the ideal canvas for makeup application. The Superprimer is also available in three variations that offer colour correction for dullness, redness or pigmentation.

In 2015 Clinique launched two new versions of their classic Aromatics fragrance; Aromatics in Black and Aromatics in White. Each box contains a lovely 4ml miniature bottle of one the scents and I received Aromatics in Black. I’ve never been a fan of the original fragrance but this one has been brought bang up to date and smells gorgeous, with fruity top notes, middle notes of jasmine and osmanthus and sensual base notes of myrhh and vetiver.

This year the edit also includes something for the boys in the form of the Clinique for Men Face Scrub. My husband is a huge fan of Clinique so he’ll definitely appreciate this.

Last but certainly not least are the stars of the show, a full size Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara (RRP £17.50), with its oversized volumizing brush that completely transforms lashes and a full size Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (RRP £15) which is a delightful macaron shaped 2-in-1 pampering treat for the lips with a sugar-smoothing scrub on one side and a tinted moisturizing balm on the other. Both of these products are new launches so I’m incredibly excited to try them.

As a final treat a £10 Clinique voucher is also included, so if you fall in love with one of the products you can snap up another. As you can see for £20 that’s a whole lot of value!

Although you can no longer get this box there are still plenty of other boxes to enjoy on the Latest In Beauty website including the fabulous Glamour Spring Edit so why not head over and treat yourself?
