DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX Review

I’ve just found my holy grail eyeliner and as a staple in my makeup regime this excites me hugely!

This eyeliner from Japanese cosmetic brand DHC was recommended to me a couple of months ago and I was kindly sent one to try. I must admit to being slightly dubious however – so many liquid eyeliners in the past that I’ve tried have promised so much but not delivered – could this eyeliner really be The One? The answer is a resounding yes!

We are told the water-resistant DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX* brush-tip eyeliner pen lets you line and define your eyes like an pro. Easy-to-use, its fine tip dispenses just the right amount of smudge-proof liner to create any look, from elegant definition to cat-eye boldness.

To use the eyeliner, you simply shake the pen and the eyeliner dispenses smoothly. The brush tip is firm without being completely stiff which means you can get in close to the base of the lashes and draw your line with ease. The result is a bold, precise line which is really as smudge-proof and flake-free as the product blurb promises. Even with my oily lids the liner stayed put all day and still looked perfect when I removed it at night.

The eyeliner is housed in packaging that is slim and comfortable to hold, it also looks really elegant. The lid fits well and snaps shut tightly meaning the brush doesn’t dry up or clog. Perfect! Along with their Deep Cleansing Oil which I reviewed here this is yet another hit from DHC and it will definitely be a product I will repurchase in the future.

You can pick the DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX up directly from the DHC website for £16.

It’s definitely worth a try, the tip is fine which means you get an accurate line and it doesn’t get on your lashes like so many liquid eyeliners.
