Tarte Cosmetics Lights Camera Lashes Mascara

As a wearer of glasses I often feel that my eye-makeup looks lost and that all people see is my large frames, so what I look for in a mascara is one that will really make may lashes pop and stand out behind my lenses.

I’m always on the search for a mascara that fits the bill and I had heard great reviews about the Lights Camera Lashes 4 in 1 Mascara from Tarte Cosmetics, which is formulated to lengthen, curl, volumise and condition the lashes, but would it live up to the claims? I had to find out for myself so when I saw that the mascara was featuring in this month’s Libbie Club boutique I couldn’t wait to try it!

The Tarte Cosmetics Lights Camera Lashes Mascara (RRP £21.50, currently £18.36 at the Libbie Club) dermatologist tested and clinically-proven to increase the appearance of lash volume. Containing olive esters, it also helps condition lashes instead of drying them out. As with other Tarte products, the mascara is cruelty-free and free of parabens, phthalates, lauryl sulfates and mineral oils.

The Tarte mascara has a traditional wand, and to be honest I usually favour silicon bristles which I find glide through the lashes easier, however I found this one really good at coating the lashes without clumping. The slim size of the wand also makes it easy to handle and prevent smudging.

The formula is smooth, blackest black and long-lasting. One coat gives plenty of oomph, lengthening, curling and separating the lashes, but a second one – wow! I really don’t think my lashes have ever looked so long or as bold and even behind my glasses they really stand out! Along with the leather effect packaging this mascara really does look, feel and perform like a high-end brand should.

Right now you can enjoy a 10% discount on the Tarte Cosmetics Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara or Opening Act Lash Primer & mini Mascara at the Libbie Club so now is the ideal time to try it yourself!

I love this mascara! I’m using it right now in my makeup rotation. Unfortunately, I can’t keep it from drying out 😦 But, that’s the problem with most mascaras. I spoke on the Tarte mascara, as well as other products, in my last blog post. You should check it out!

Wow, the mascara looks great on you! I have the same problem with glasses, but I tell myself, at least the frames will cover my under eye circles, haha! This is a great mascara, glad you love it! 🙂
