Pink Parcel – July 2016

The second of my monthly subscription boxes to arrive this month is July’s Pink Parcel. I’ve been a subscriber for quite some time now and the box is definitely a firm favourite, delivering not only some brilliant beauty treats but also providing those necessary sanitary products, making it practical too!

The arrival of my Pink Parcel never fails to brighten up my day and this month was no exception. So let’s delve inside this month’s box as I unveil the contents!

First out of the box is a Lottie London Polish in ‘Blogger Babe’ (RRP £5.99), which is a very wearable mink colour. As you can see from my photo I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl and I was very impressed with the coverage and ease of application.

The focus on hand and nails continues with the second item, a 50ml Patisserie De Bain Hand Cream in Cranberries & Cream (RRP £3.99). This pretty little hand cream smells gorgeous and leaves your hands feeling soft and supple.

Next up is a 15ml sachet of Freeman Bare Foot Lavender & Mint Foot Cream (RRP £1.50), a very soothing and moisturising foot cream. The formula features tea tree oil, known for its antibacterial and antiseptic qualities, to keep the feet fresh and hygienic. I love the cream but the packaging is not ideal as I definitely wouldn’t use anywhere near this much cream in one go, yet the sachet isn’t resealable. A little tube would be more practical.

Also included, but not pictured, is a Pink Parcel & Vintage Cosmetic Company branded nail file and 20% discount code for their website.

Moving on we have a pair of Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Rose Gold Tweezers (RRP £8), which are an exclusive launch in this month’s Pink Parcel and aren’t even available to buy yet! These slanted tweezers have an excellent grip and make plucking even the tiniest of hairs a doddle.

Finally we have two full size makeup items; a Bellapierre Gel Eye Liner in Ebony (RRP £14) and a Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Eyeshadow Duo in Lightning (RRP £17.95). The eyeshadows in gold and charcoal are highly pigmented and have a creamy texture that glides onto the lids and blends well. The colours are definitely show-stopping!

Last but not least there are a couple of tasty treats to help with those sugar cravings we often get at that time of the month. This month we have a La Via Del Te Tisana Sweet Relax Tea bag and a little pack of delicious Bahlsen Choco Leibniz biscuits, which believe me did not last long and we eaten as soon as i’d taken my blog photos!

Included in each month’s box is an ample selection of tampons or sanitary towels (you choose your product type and brand), a handful of panty liners, and a pack of Fab Little Bag tampon disposal bags (RRP £1.99), which make disposing your sanitary items discreet, hygienic and eco-friendly.

This month’s Pink Parcel contains a great assortment of beauty treats and I love the focus on hands, nails and makeup. At £10.50 per month I really don’t know how Pink Parcel do it – it’s a complete bargain! If you’re always forgetting to buy your sanitary products, or perhaps you are simply looking to treat yourself, why not give Pink Parcel a try?

Take a look at the Pink Parcel website to find out more and get your first parcel for just £6.99!

Sub for the beauty box and why not donate the sanitary supplies to a toiletries drive for the homeless or low incomes or something? I’ve bought pads and tampons just to give to homeless woman at food donation events when they were asking for toiletries in the past.

I’m quite the fan of Patisserie de Bain hand cream and this post alerted to me to the fact that two new scents came on the market as the Pink Parcel website listed ‘strawberries and cream’ and ‘orange’ as options in the parcel. There the only two scents of that hand cream I’ve never tried.
