The Selfridges Summer Beauty Box is back for 2016! Whether you’re off on a beach holiday or city break, Selfridges’ limited edition Beauty Box has everything you’ll need and all of it tucked up in a beautiful canvas cosmetic pouch by Alphabet Bags.
The box is everything i’ve come to expect from Selfridges; brimming with a selection of cult favourites including Aesop, Illamasqua, Dermalogica, and Stila, and with a combined value of £159 for just £35. You’d have to be crazy to miss it!
Clarins Eau des Jardins Smoothing Body Cream (100ml, value £14.50) – This body cream featured in last years beauty box and it’s a good one! My thirsty skin literally soaks up body cream but this seems to provide a deep moisture that lasts so much longer than a lot of creams, plus it smells lovely!
Aesop Rind Body Balm (50ml, value £10.40) – This body balm features lots of skin friendly ingredients to nourish parched skin. It’s cooling and refreshing, so is ideal for sun-kissed skins.
Dermalogica Protection 50 Sport SPF50 (22ml, RRP £6) – This is a really high factor SPF that will ensure the skin is well protected from damaging UV rays.
First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist (59ml, RRP £10) – One thing I always reach for when temperatures rise is a refreshing facial mist and this one is packed full of vitamins so it not only cools but boosts the skin.
MaskerAide Sheet Mask Weather Warrior (RRP £5) – I absolutely love sheet masks so this is right up my street, offering hydration and calming and soothing weather beaten skin. After a day spent catching rays by the pool this will be the perfect product to replenish lost moisture.
Beauty Blender Micro Mini & Liquid Cleanser (RRP £13.50 for 2) – Beauty Blenders are perfect for applying foundation and giving you a flawless finish and now there is the cutest mini one for applying concealer.
Tangle Teezer Original (RRP £11) – The Tangle Teezer seems to be a regular in the Selfridges Beauty Box and this is the third one I have had. That’s not a complaint however as my Tangle Teezers are used daily so an extra one will be great to keep at work or in my handbag.
Zoeva Luxe Crease Brush (RRP £9) – How luxe is this makeup brush from Zoeva? Tucked into its own pouch so the bristles will stay protected and clean, it is ideal for travel.
Philip Kingsley Citrus Sunshine Swimcap (75ml, RRP £13) – Swimcap is a favourite product of mine for protecting my hair from chlorine or salt water, but I’m yet to try this scented version.
Eyeko Alexa Eyeliner (RRP £15) – With its easy-to-use precision tip this eyeliner pen creates the perfect line to subtly accentuate the eye or create a dramatic cat eye. The formula is waterproof and an intense carbon black colour.
Illamasqua Sketch Stick in Free (RRP £15) – This soft crayon is in a stunning cornflower blue colour and it is said to be multi-use and can be used anywhere on the face for a daring makeup look or even the body. Personally I’ll be playing it safe and using it on my eyes.
Stila Lip Glaze in Ruby Grapefruit (RRP £15) – I have so many Stila Lip Glazes already but amazingly this is a shade I don’t already have – happy days!
As I already mentioned the products are all packed into a large canvas bag emblazoned with a fun slogan. Exclusively designed for Selfridges by Alphabet Bag it is really good quality and on its own is worth £20!
Amazingly, the box is still available on the Selfridges website, so if you hurry you may just bag yourself one!
What do you think of this year’s box?
