Sukin Renewing Body Scrub

Sukin is a brand I have featured on my blog before. Their completely natural skincare products, made in Australia, are formulated to be super gentle on the skin, helping restore balance and moisture to the skin, and as the tag-line says it is ‘Skincare That Doesn’t Cost The Earth’.

The latest product that i’ve had the pleasure to try is the Sukin Renewing Body Scrub (200ml, RRP £12.95)*. This gentle body exfoliant containing micro Jojoba beads, Green Tea leaves and ground Walnut shells delicately polishes the surface of the skin, whilst Jojoba oil, Coconut oil and Aloe Vera help in maintaining moisture levels, improving elasticity and boosting collagen production. Finally Green Tea extract, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E add antioxidants and essential fatty acids into the mix, vital for skin nourishment and health.

This scrub feels very gentle, the jojoba beads and walnut shell provide a light exfoliation that doesn’t tug or tear at the skin, so it is ideal for regular use or for sensitive or delicate skin, and the texture is creamy and nourishing. After use my skin feels smooth, hydrated and looks bright. If you are used to a more coarse scrub – perhaps a salt scrub – then the exfoliation of this may feel a little too mild, but this would still be great for use in between a deeper exfoliation session to help maintain glowing skin.

The Sukin body care range is really eco friendly, promising to be both carbon neutral and cruelty free. The products do not contain any harsh ingredients including SLS, SLES, Parabens, Detergents or Mineral Oils, nor do they contain animal by-products.

You can find Sukin products in Holland & Barrett stores nationwide as well as online.
