Pink Parcel – September 2016

If you regularly forget to stock up on sanitary products, leaving you short at that time of the month, then Pink Parcel is the subscription service for you. Priced at £10.50 per month this box delivers you a regular supply of tampons or sanitary towels, plus a bundle of treats, completely taking the hassle out of your period and making it a time to look forward to than one you dread.

September’s box arrived a couple of days ago containing a great selection of beauty and lifestyle goodies. The first of which is a gorgeous bronzer from New CID Cosmetics. The I-Glow Mini in Sarocco (RRP £16) is a baked shimmer powder that lends a warm healthy glow to the complexion, and can be used all over or just as a contour. The packaging is really nice and the addition of a mirror in the lid means it’s really easy to apply on the go.

The next full size product in the box is the AA Skincare Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel (RRP £6.96). This is a product I’ve used before – see my review here – and it’s a great multi-tasking product as it can be used to remove eye makeup as well as a hydrating and soothing moisturiser for the delicate eye area. AA Skincare have a great range of reasonably priced, good quality natural skin, hair and body care products; I hope we’ll see more of the brand in future Pink Parcels.

During my period my body temperature seems to go up a little which always makes me sleep less soundly. The next product, a mini sized Cotswold Lavender Slumber Spray (full size RRP £7.25) is designed to help you get a better nights sleep and it’s a great addition to the box.

The final beauty products is a 50ml travel sized Schwarzkopf Bonacure Colour-Freeze Shampoo (full size RRP £12.20), which is sulphate free and promises to gently cleanse your hair without stripping the colour. I don’t colour my hair but I do try and avoid sulphates in my hair products so I’ll be looking forward to trying this shampoo.

Next week have a handful of indulgent treats including chocolate from Ombar, a coconut and cranberry tea from Cuppanut, a pack of oat crackers from Nairns and a pack of 4 lavender scented t-lights; the perfect lineup for a cosy night in when you’re feeling delicate!

Included in each month’s box is a selection of tampons or sanitary towels (you choose your product type and brand), which should be more than adequate to see you through your period, and a handful of panty liners.

This month’s Pink Parcel contains a great assortment of treats and at £10.50 I’m sure you’ll agree it is a complete bargain! If you’re always dashing to the 24 hour supermarket for sanitary products because you’ve run out why not give Pink Parcel a try?
