LaLaLoopsy Princess Castle Review

Is your daughter a real girly girl, who dreams of princesses and loves pink? Despite our best efforts to avoid stereotyping and the ‘blue is for boys, pink for girls’ mentality, our five year old goes mad for anything pink or Princess related. If in doubt, buy her something pink and you’re guaranteed a winner!

This La La Loopsy Princess Castle (RRP £29.99)* by MGA Entertainment is has proved a real hit with our little girl, combining plenty of pink with a pretty Princess theme, and she will sit for ages, making up little stories with the figure! I admit I’m quite besotted with the playset too because I love all the detailing and every time my daughter plays with it we discover something new.

The LaLaLoopsy Princess Castle features a spinning dance floor, hammock, tea cup elevator and plenty of levels to play on – both at the front and the back. It comes with a tiny tea set and one character – Goldie Luxe – whose dress changes colour in cold water, which is a lovely touch. The figure’s dress is also removable so if you have any other LaLaLoopsy Minis you can have fun swopping the outfits.

There is plenty of fun to be had discovering all the different features, the only downside is there is only one figure included (you can buy other figures seperately to add your collection). I think Goldie Luxe would have liked a little friend to share her castle with!

Although the pieces are small and there is lots of tiny detailing everything seems pretty sturdy and resilient. Due to the small pieces which could be swallowed it is recommended for ages 4 and above. The castle is very well packaged – if not a little too well as it did take quite a lot of time to undo everything and remove all the cable ties – and looks very appealing!

If your child loves imaginative play this playset would be ideal as there are plenty of features to inspire little minds. And if your daughter is crazy for pink it really would go down a treat if they discovered this under the tree this Christmas!

You will find the LaLaLoopsy Princess Castle plus other LaLaLoopsy playsets at many well known retailers including The Entertainer.

What sort of toys do your little ones enjoy playing with?
