The Hero Project Glow Drops Review

The amazing Glow Drops facial oil from The Hero Project is now half price in the Libbie Club Black Friday Sale at just £12, but hurry as the offer ends midnight on Monday! Check out my review of them here.

Loves and Loathes

Any regular visitors to my blog will already know I’m a huge fan of facial oils so when I heard the Libbie Club was featuring a facial oil in their April beauty offers I was hugely excited and couldn’t wait to introduce it into my skincare regime.

The facial oil in question is Glow Drops by The Hero Project (30ml, RRP £21) and after having used it for almost 2 weeks I can honestly say the oil has completely won me over. Glow Drops is a dry touch oil so if you hate the sticky greasy feel of some facial oils this is a winner. It also has a beautiful silky texture and glides onto the skin like a dream; after use leaving my skin feeling touchably soft, hydrated and definitely glowing.

YOU Beauty Box November 2016

It’s been a few weeks since November’s YOU Beauty Box landed on my doormat but finally I’ve found time to road test the products I chose and bring you my review.

I currently have a Gold Membership priced at £10.95, but even if you opt for the £6.95 Bronze Membership you will still find your box is great value. So what did I choose this month?

L’Or des Pharaons Face Mist

Skincare doesn’t get easier than using a facial mist – even those of us with the busiest lifestyles can find a second to spritz on a mist to nourish, hydrate and hydrate the skin – but as with all things not all facial mists are created equal, with some being far more sophisticated and potent. The product I’m reviewing today from The Health Factory is definitely one such example.

L’Or des Pharaons (15ml, RRP £40)* is a sublime face and body mist featuring real gold, which has been designed to enhance your natural complexion and help keep its youthful radiance. The product contains no chemicals, just purified water, and monatomic, diatomic and nanoclusters of pure gold, platinum and zinc. These precious metals have been added in the smallest particles possible, enabling your skin to quickly absorb them and reap maximum benefits!

EasiYo Yogurt Maker

EasiYo was an idea dreamed up over 20 years by a New Zealand farmer who wanted to provide healthy yogurt to his growing family, one which was fresher and cheaper than store-bought yogurt. Thanks to its simplicity and ease of use, not to mention the tasty yogurt it produces, EasiYo has become an international success story and today I’m featuring their new and improved Yogurt Maker.

The redesigned EasiYo Yogurt Maker (RRP £17.99)* incorporates a host of technical, ergonomic and thermal improvements over the previous model. It makes 1kg of Yogurt and all parts are manufactured from US and UK FDA approved polypropylene, which are completely free from polycarbonate, BPA and any form of anti-environmental hormones. Available in a variety of colours I love this bright red one!

The English Soap Company Merry Christmas Gift Set

I love buying Christmas presents for people but sometimes I get fed up of the gifts available on the high street, with shops churning out the same brands and products year after year. That’s why when I saw this lovely gift set from The English Soap Company I had to grab a few extra to give as presents.

The English Soap Company Soap and Candle Duo (Libbie Club price £15) is a beautifully packaged gift set featuring a large soap and scented candle. At 260 grams the soap is a great size and smells of a lovely traditional festive fragrance combining winter flowers and Christmas greenery. It is rich is Shea Butter, which prevents the skin from drying out, and produces a creamy, nourishing lather.

Embryolisse ‘Secret De Maquilleurs’ Radiant Eye Stick

This time of year almost all of us begin to feel a little burnt out, with so much to do and so little time to do it. Maybe we have partied a little too hard, spent most of the weekend Christmas shopping, or have been nursing a bad cold, it all takes its toll and leaves our skin needing a boost.

One of places where this fatigue really shows up is around the eyes, with tell-tale dark circles and dehydration lines desperately calling for a soothing, hydrating product to erase them and the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Stick I recently tested really ticks this box, leaving eyes feeling comfortable and looking bright.
