MOA The Green Balm Daily Cleansing Ritual

After the excesses of Christmas and new Year celebrations your skin may be looking a little lacklustre, so what better way to Spring clean your beauty regime and pick up a new cleansing product to reawaken your complexion.

Moa’s Daily Cleansing Ritual (RRP £17.50, Libbie Club price £15.75) is ideal if your aim for 2017 is clear, glowing skin. This must-have combo contains a 50ml pot of The Green Balm plus an organic bamboo face cloth for the ultimate deep cleansing and skin perfecting experience!

The all-natural balm removes makeup, impurities, and excess oil whilst delivering super-soft skin, with an expert blend of healing Yarrow, antibacterial Tea Tree Oil, nourishing Coconut Oil and skin softening Sweet Almond Oil.

The use of Yarrow as a ‘healing herb’ goes back centuries. Yarrow extract contains salicylic acid which gives the balm anti-inflammatory properties and helps to treat skin conditions like acne and psoriasis. Add to the mix the antimicrobial qualities of Tea Tree Oil and you have the perfect potion to ward off acne and problematic skin conditions.

If you’re wondering whether a balm is suitable for oily skin have no fear! Whilst I was very skeptical myself about using a balm on my oil prone skin I needn’t have worried. The oils used in The Green Balm have very low comedogenicity, which means they’re unlikely to cause blocked pores and contribute to acne, and they don’t leave skin greasy, plus the ingredients actually fight spot-causing bacteria! Once warmed between your fingers the balm becomes a fine, silky textured oil which lifts grease and grime and dissolves even the most stubborn makeup without stripping the skin, and it rinses clean leaving no residue – just comfortable and cared for skin.

The Green Balm comes complete with a Bamboo Face Cloth. Bamboo fibres are incredibly soft so they are very skin friendly, but not only that, they have antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and deodorizing properties – bonus.

Using the bamboo cloth in conjunction with your Green Balm is easy; once you have massaged the balm onto your face you simply dip your face cloth in hot water, wring it out and press to your face. This opens up the pores and softens the balm even further, allowing it to cleanse even deeper into the pores. Using the rougher side to remove the balm in circular motions also adds a slight exfoliating action. Finally finish your cleansing ritual by dipping your cloth in cold water, and pressing the super-soft side to your face to close the pores.

If you think The Green Balm is just another cleanser think again. It can be used in so many ways, including to soothe dry and itchy skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and minor rashes; to help heal minor cuts, grazes, blisters, bruises, burns and insect bites; treating chapped lips and sore, red nostrils; to combat athlete’s foot; applied post-shave to calm inflamed skin; to help fade scarring or stretch marks after pregnancy; and to help new tattoos or piercings to heal. This multi purpose balm is so much more than a cleanser and is perfect for all the family!
