This month’s YOU Beauty Box is here, and if you are a fan of natural beauty it is definitely for you.
The ‘Organic & Natural Edit’ features a host of hard-working beauty products from the best natural beauty brands in the industry, so read on to find out more and take a peek at what is inside my box.
The first product I chose is one I’ve used before, and whilst it isn’t particularly exciting it is a great staple, especially if you’re short on time as I often am. The AA Green Tea & Aloe Soothing Cleansing Wipes (RRP £3.30) are a must if you have regular late nights and don’t always have time for a full cleanse, and while I wouldn’t advocate using cleansing Wipes every evening, for the odd emergency or if you need to freshen up after the gym they’re good to have to hand.
My second pick was the Benecos Natural Hand Cream (RRP £2.95). Hand cream is something I use regularly, and I have them dotted around the house and in various handbags so I always have one close by. This one features Sweet Almond Oil and Organic Calendula Flower Extract to moisturise, sooth and protect your hands, and it smells gorgeous plus sinks in nicely without leaving the hands feeling too greasy.
Another beauty must have is a decent lip balm so the Balm Balm Tea Tree Lip Balm (RRP £5.50) was my third product. Again I have lots of lip balms stashed in various places so that whenever my lips feel dry I can quickly apply some much needed moisture. This all natural formulation features tea tree oil which is anti bacterial and can help banish coldsore forming bacteria, helping protect the lips, but you can also dab it on any scrapes, cuts or bites.
Finally I chose the PHB Organic Lip Crayon (RRP £8.95), a super soft, all natural lip pencil that is richly pigmented and glides on, helping prevent feathering and prolong your lip colour.
The extras this month included a Pip & Nut Coconut Almond Butter Squeeze Pack and – for Gold Subscribers – a full size The Organic Pharmacy Hand Cream (RRP £21.95).
This month’s shortlist wasn’t the most exciting and I feel there were a lot of duplicates from previous boxes but given the price of the subscription which starts at just £6.95 including postage it is still a great value box and an inexpensive way of discovering new beauty products.
