Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Playset

Hatchimals were big news in December 2016 with parents tearing their hair out trying to get their hands on the latest must-have toy and since then the range has expanded to include the cute little range of collectables – Hatchimals CollEGGtibles.

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are the little sisters of the larger Hatchimals; tiny collectable plastic animals which come in blind bags. Inside each bag is a small speckled egg which is hatched by rubbing on the heart until it changes colour, then removing the shell to discover the mystery character inside.

The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Hatchery Nursery* we were kindly sent to review is designed to display up to 35 of your Hatchimals CollEGGtibles characters and also to be used as a playset.

There are nests your Hatchimal CollEGGtible figures can sleep in, hooks which they can hang from, spinning cribs, swing, slide, high chairs and a moving shower. Plus with a few winds of a handle the Hatchery Nursery also helps you hatch your Hatchimals CollEGGtibles eggs!

Made from robust plastic, the nursery is really easy to put together with only two pieces that need slotting into place and it doesn’t require any batteries so you can pretty much take it straight out of the box and play with it immediately. The playset comes with one CollEGGtible egg.

As a parent I thought the playset was a little expensive bearing in mind it includes only one figure and doesn’t do a vast amount. That said my 6 year old daughter absolutely loves it, especially all the little details and different areas she can explore with her Hatchimals figures and she has played with it for hours since getting it, so who am I to talk! If your child loves cute little collectable figures then this set would be the perfect gift for them.

The Hatchery Nursery is available at £29.99 from good toy retailers.
