LUSH Treats

Hello lovelies! It’s literally been months since my last blog post, due to numerous other things demanding my attention, but today I’m back with what will hopefully be the first post of a more regular offering.

Today I thought I’d share with you my most recent LUSH purchases. I don’t get to LUSH as often as I’d like with there not being a store in my home town, but a few weeks ago I visited the Trafford Centre and popped in to see what new products there were; it had clearly been a long time as there were loads of interesting new products to try and I wanted to buy half the store. Luckily I resisted the urge and limited myself to these beauties:

First up is a trio of bath bombs.

My daughter’s pick was the Rocket Science Bath Bomb (£3.75), which combines oils of bergamot and lemon in a fun looking bath bomb, designed to really lift the mood.

The Turtle Jelly Bomb (£4.95) is also fun but has a serious message about how plastic is harming our sea life. With cypress and sandalwood oils and refreshing pine absolute this bath bomb fizzes away to release a skin softening jelly which spreads on the surface and leaves agar strands floating in the water as a reminder of the threat sea turtles face.

Next is the Cheery Christmas Bath Bomb (£3.95), a refreshing blend of Sicilian lemon oil and blackcurrant-scented buchu oil, all packed into a beautiful pink snowflake shaped bomb that bursts in the water, releasing a delicate shimmer.

I also picked up three bubbles bars that caught my eye.

The Bewitched Bubble Bar (£4.95) is from the Halloween range and is a cute kitty shaped bar that creates masses of bergamot scented bubbles.

From the Christmas range is the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar (£3.95) which combines Fair Trade organic cocoa butter and shea butter to give your skin a real treat. Fans of Snow Fairy will love its scent too.

Finally we have the Candy Cane Bubble Bar (£3.95) with its fruity and refreshing blend of bergamot and Sicilian lemon oils. This brightly coloured bubble bar is guaranteed to spread plenty of Christmas cheer as it releases mounds of bubbles.

That really is just a small selection of the latest LUSH goodies and I really wish I could have bought more. Maybe if I drop enough hints some of the other products might find their way under my Christmas tree!
