Hatchimals were big news in December 2016 with parents tearing their hair out trying to get their hands on the latest must-have toy and since then the range has expanded to include the cute little range of collectables – Hatchimals CollEGGtibles.
Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are the little sisters of the larger Hatchimals; tiny collectable plastic animals which come in blind bags. Inside each bag is a small speckled egg which is hatched by rubbing on the heart until it changes colour, then removing the shell to discover the mystery character inside.
A few months ago I reviewed L.O.L Surprise Dolls and now there is a new member of the family, Lil Sisters.
L.O.L. Lil Sisters (RRP £4.99)* are exactly what you might expect – tiny versions of the L.O.L. Surprise! dolls which like their big sisters come wrapped in several layers, each one revealing a surprise.
Are you partial to a Rosy Lee AKA cup of tea? I ditched coffee in favour of tea at the age of 17 and haven’t looked back. I love so many different teas, although my favourite is still good old black tea with a generous splash of semi skimmed milk and no sugar (FYI should you ever be called upon to make me a brew). Here are six signs that you could well be a tea addict too.
Welcome to my next installment of the Bloggers Board Game Club. This month we were sent Hey! That’s My Fish!*, a strategic game in which players take charge of 2-4 penguins (depending on the number of players) in an battle to steal the most fish from the glacier before it melts.
One of the things we love to do as a family or with friends is to play board games. After a meal or on a rainy day its a great way to relax and have a bit of fun, and it’s also a fantastic way to tear the kids away from the TV or social media.
Recently we were sent Timeline British History to try out. If you’re into history or like games that test your mental prowess, this game is definitely one for you. It’s also good if you prefer simple card games that don’t take ages to set up or have complicated rules to learn.
Until recently my daughter has never really been one for playing with dolls, prefering to draw, play with My Little Ponies, or go on Minecraft (daddy’s influence – much to my annoyance as I really don’t get it). However we were recently sent a My First Baby Annabell I Care For You doll and ever since she has been smitten and plays with her regularly.
One of the highlights of my blogging calender is the biennial Blog On Conference in Manchester. Blog On is organised by Laura of Tired Mummy of Two and her fantastic team of fellow bloggers and it is held of the Museum of Science and Industry.
The conference is well attended by lots of diverse brands and PR companies, so the networking opportunities are great, and there are also some brilliant sessions where you can learn everything from photography and blog planning to improving your social media or how to monetize your blog.
If you use fake tan you probably know what a minefield it can be. From streaky formulations, to ones that make you look orange or others that leave behind the tell-take odour, you’ve probably tried them all in search of the perfect beach glow.
The latest innovation I’ve had the pleasure of trying is the Crystal Clear Beach Glow Tan Drops (RRP £29.99)*. These tanning drops firmly put you in control of the tanning experience meaning you get the tan you desire.
