With a focus on self-care the March Birchbox is all about pampering and indulgence and as usual all the products are packaged in a lovely box.
The festive season is fast approaching and the latest Libbie Club offers definitely have it sorted with makeup that is perfect for all those parties and social gatherings, a lovely foot scrub which will restore tired, aching feet, and a very seasonal candle and soap duo that would make a perfect present for a friend or loved one!
I was incredibly lucky in November and won a bespoke beauty Advent Calender from Kat of Tales of A Pale Face blog. As I was being restrained and desperately trying not to purchase any of the amazing beauty calenders out there I was over the moon; not to mention the fact that from reading her blog I knew she has great taste and would no doubt put together a great selection of goodies.
So what was in my one-of-a-kind advent calender?
This week I concluded that I am desperately in need of new underwear – and to get my sexy back – wearing breastfeeding bras when you’ve not nursed in quite some time is a dead giveaway that something needs to be done!
I was about to embark on an online spree when I noticed an advert on Facebook for Marks and Spencer basically offering a free beauty box worth £88 with every £50 spend on lingerie. And it worked on sale items. Get in! I battled through the website (you cannot filter by cup size – sort it out M&S) and finally came out the other end with my underwear and beauty box.
My eagerly awaited August Birchbox has landed on my doorstep really quickly this month and has certainly brightened up what’s a pretty miserable Monday!
The theme of the August Birchbox is Away We Go and as Birchbox had already revealed each subscriber would get a cute cosmetics case, perfect for packing those summer holiday essentials. Being honest I wasn’t overly excited by the spoiler I’d seen, but as they say never judge a book by its cover, and having delved into my box I can actually say I am really pleased with what I’ve received and also very excited as each brand is a completely new discovery for me!
Once again Birchbox have sent out PR Samples of the July Birchbox way before revealing their official spoilers. I love a good spoiler but I wish they’d try and keep the lid on things a bit more and do a gradual release rather than allowing bloggers to reveal the whole box.
So finally after a couple of dodgy months (last month’s box of tea and stationary being notable) Love Me Beauty brings us a Beauty Box!
I can’t say I’m hugely wowed by the choices, certainly not enough to pay up for another block subscription as I did, but I’m still excited to get my box. There are some brands I like, products I will use and i’m happy to see their focus has shifted back to beauty.
The June You Beauty Discovery box selection has just been unveiled to subscribers. As always the idea is that when the selection opens on the 1st of the month you select two items to receive in your box.
For their latest box Latest In Beauty have teamed up with the British Beauty Blogger to bring us The Dream Box. This is the third box Jane, of British Beauty Blogging fame, has curated (and the first with LIB) and it is a belter!
Jane has selected fifteen amazing beauty products for inclusion in the box which she has personally tried, tested and endorsed. Some are well known, trusted products from brands you will already know, whilst others will be new discoveries. Box is a bargainous £19.95 and includes free postage!
