Marula Pure Beauty Oil Deep Conditioning Hair Mask

Marula Oil is the latest beauty secret making waves in the industry. Harvested by hand in the most rural parts of South Africa it is nutrient rich and packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and omega oils which deliver nutrition, moisture and luminosity to your skin and hair, and I fell in love with the precious oil when I reviewed the Marula Facial Oil back in 2015.

Now the company behind the brilliant facial oil have introduced new products to the Marula Pure Beauty Oil range including the Deep Moisture Hair Mask which I had the pleasure of trying recently.

Unwash – The New Clean

The way we wash our hair keeps making headlines recently, from co-washing to the no-poo method, whether we should shun SLS or silicones, how often we should shampoo… someone always has a different opinion and it can be pretty confusing.

Calling themselves ‘The New Clean’, Unwash is a relatively new haircare brand from the US that has taken some of these ideas and translated them into a regime that is simple to understand, with products that are gentle and fit into our busy ‘wash & go’ lifestyles. I was recently sent some products to try and I had quite different results with them, some great, some not so great.

SugarBaby Vita+Skin Range

SugarBaby is an Australian beauty brand that has just launched over here in Superdrug, and I don’t know about you but I love it when a new brand from overseas hits the stores, especially when it looks a lush as this one!

With their bright packaging and fresh scents the SugarBaby Vita+Skin range of products transports you to a tropical paradise, where the ripe coconuts used in these products grow, and rich oils and shea butter indulge your body from head to toe. I was kindly sent three of their key products to share with my readers so read on to find out more about this exciting new Aussie brand!

Argan Oil with InstaNatural

By now I’m certain that we all know the benefits of argan oil, the antioxidant rich oil which has rapidly become the darling of the beauty industry, and i’m sure that if you take a look at your beauty products you will find at least one, if not more, that features this oil somewhere in the ingredients list!

I’ve long since used argan oil as part of my beauty regime and now Florida-based company InstaNatural have harnessed the wonders of this oil to being us not one but three amazing products.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Review

Elasticizer by renowned Trichologist Philip Kingsley is probably the most raved about hair product in the beauty world. A pre-shampoo treatment, Elasticizer was originally created for Audrey Hepburn who was looking for a hair treatment that would be super moisturising whilst repairing her hair and keeping it in great condition through the frequent colouring and styling her would go through on film sets.

I must hold my hands up and admit that although Elasticizer had been on my radar for a number of years, it is only earlier this year that I took the plunge and sampled this now cult classic.

Argan Dew Review

Argan Oil has been big news in the beauty industry for some time now, but eight years ago, when I holidayed in Morocco it was pretty much unheard of in the UK and only really niche or high end brands were using it.

I recall that after being convinced of the oils nourishing properties and its many uses by an enthusiastic trader in the local Souk I bought a few bottles of 100% Argan Oil to bring back home. I fell in love and immediately wished I’d bought more, especially as it was so much cheaper than anywhere it could be bought in the UK!

Now Argan Oil makes a regular appearence in my beauty regime, so
when I was recently sent some samples to try from Argan Dew* – a range of products infused with Argan Oil – I was looking forward to seeing what their products bring to what is now a very crowded market place.

Introducing Silk + Honey

Silk + Honey is a relative newcomer to the beauty market, having launched in February 2014, but that doesn’t mean the products aren’t impressive. In fact, with the sleek packaging and lovely website you wouldn’t know that these formulas were cooked up in their creator, Sharonda Flynn’s, kitchen.

When Sharonda very kindly offered bloggers the opportunity to sample her products I jumped at the chance.
