Bach Original Flower Remedies

This time of year can be so stressful. The busy Christmas period and all its difficulties may be out of the way but the New Year often brings with it new challenges and anxieties, from small things like getting back into the routine of work or the school run, to larger ones like December’s credit card bill hitting the mat or how you are planning to keep all those New Year Resolutions.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, worried, fearful or dealing with any other negative emotion which is effecting your day to day life and relationships the Bach Original Flower Remedies* are a safe and natural method of bringing about calm and restoring balance. Discovered by Dr. Bach in the 1920’s the 38 different remedies gently restore the balance between mind and body by combating negative emotions such as fear, worry, hatred and indecision, allowing peace and happiness to return to the sufferer so that the body is free to heal itself.

Introducing Jools Drinks

This year I decided to give up alcohol for Lent and evenings have been decidedly boring without the odd beer or glass of wine. I’m not a huge fan of fizzy or sugary drinks and there’s a limit to the amount of herbal tea I can drink, so I’ve been searching for interesting and preferably healthy alternatives to keep me going through the drought!

When I was sent a trio of Jools Drinks* to sample they were very welcome indeed. They definitely sounded like drinks I would enjoy both at home or at the gym and with a unique formula that makes them much more interesting and exciting than any other soft drink I’ve seen before I was really looking forward to trying them.

Today I’m talking about tea detoxes, which really seem to have grown in popularity in recent months. Always up for trying something new I was very happy when Slendertoxtea kindly sent me their 14 Day Teatox* to try.

Launching on March 9th in Boots stores nationwide Bionsen Caring Touch offers a more natural approach to preventing body odour, whilst maintaining the efficacy of leading brands.

New Year, New Me – Getting Healthier in 2015!

Over Christmas I was really ill and it hit home that i’d neglected myself recently and I really needed to get fit and healthy again. I know it’s often easier said than done and that so many New Year resolutions fall by the wayside, but I am committed and have already begun making significant changes including signing up to my local Xercise4less gym, which I’m super excited about because I used to be quite a gym bunny before my little one came along – even working out right through my pregnancy!

So what else is going to help me achieve my goal of getting healthy in 2015?

Mio Skincare’s Big Beach Countdown

In April I blogged about the new range of Mio Skincare aimed specifically at the fitness market. Sadly, re-reading that post I didn’t really achieve the goal I’d set myself of a fitter, healthier lifestyle but I did discover a love of Mio Skincare and the fresh, zingy scents.

Last week I was just browsing the You Beauty Discovery website and saw that they had a new “Big Beach Countdown” Limited Edition Box featuring Mio Skincare. I immediately bagged one because, despite a couple of the extras in the box being of little value to me (I’ll explain that in more detail later), it is still amazing value.

Graze Box Review

wpid-20140613_113657.jpg

I don’t normally blog about my Graze box, as those who subscribe will know what it’s about, but every so often I like to give them a mention for those who perhaps aren’t familiar. This week’s box was such a good example of the variety on offer at Graze however that I felt it was worthy of it’s own post.

Mio Skincare and My Aim For a Fitter, Healthier Year

The makers of Mama Mio, a range of skin- and bodycare for mum and baby, recently launched a “High intensity” bodycare range targeting problem areas and working alongside a healthy lifestyle to really bring results.  With fresh zingy scents the intention is to kickstart your day and motivate you, whilst moisturising and caring for your skin, and finally helping you to unwind after a long day. Invigorating shower gels, firming creams, muscle-soothing balms; all complement one another with one goal of giving you “skin fit for life”.
