To raise awareness of badger culls going on across the UK Lush has teamed up with Save Me Trust and developed a new May Day bath bomb. With elections on everyone’s mind this was the perfect timing to highlight the plight of this most peaceful of native animals and also call for people to consider the Partys’ stances on animal rights and issues when casting their votes.
At the beginning of March Lush launched their Easter range and as soon as it hit the website I was there, credit card in hand and very excited, to see what goodies were in the 2015 collection! As usual the range hasn’t disappointed; every Easter related object you could possibly think of has been faithfully recreated as only Lush can do. With bright candy-coloured eggs, cutesy rabbits and even bunches of carrots Spring has definitely sprung at Lush!
We said goodbye to February just over a week ago and with Spring just around the corner it’s time to start clearing out the closet and packing those Winter woollies away. It was while tidying up and sorting out the recycling that I remembered I’d not written a post on last month’s empties, so without further ado let me take you through all the product use-ups and whether they were hit or miss!
Lush certainly know how to think up new and inspiring ranges and this time it’s Mother’s Day that gets the all attention. Last week I persuaded my husband to drive me to the Bury store so I could explore the range and take a few bits home with me.
Valentine’s was still the order of the day in the shop, with Lonely Hearts, Unicorn Horns and Prince Charming shower gels piled high, but for this visit it was the Mother’s Day products that I really had my eye on. The Lush Mother’s Day range has definitely been cooked up with both mums and kids in mind, so along with indulgent aromas plenty of fun characters have been thrown in to amuse and delight Lush’s younger audience. Faced with all these brightly coloured and interesting goodies I was like a kid in a sweetshop and quickly filled my basket up with treats.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner Lush have launched their latest products to appeal to all the romantics out there! I had already had a peek at the range a few weeks ago and picked up one of their beautiful heart-shaped bubble bars, but the one item I really wanted had sold out in record time. As soon as it was restocked of course it was at the top of my list, along with a couple of other items.
I don’t go in for Valentine’s Day in a massive way, and I’m not overly keen on huge romantic gestures or extravagant presents, but I must admit to enjoying a little surprise gift so I decided to compile a small, budget friendly gift guide to help anyone who may be struggling for inspiration!
This gift guide is not about expensive presents, but small tokens that you can give the beauty addict in your life. So what products have caught my eye?
I can’t say I’m really into the Boxing Day sales but one exception has to be the Lush sale, which happens online for one day only!
It would appear everyone else loves this sale too and I had to battle though the extremely glitchy Lush website in the hope of bagging a few bargains. Once I managed to get on, rather than umm and ahh over individual products, I quickly chose some of their lovely gift sets (emphasis on the word quick there – everything was selling like hot cakes) and checked out!
So what did I get in my haul?
I was late to the Lush party but since I bought my first products last year they’ve become a firm favourite, and even my 3 year old daughter has got in on the act and loves the bath bombs and bubble bars!
As I was visiting the Trafford Centre yesterday it would’ve been rude not to pop in to their Lush store and pick up some new products as well as perusing their new Valentine’s range. As you can imagine there are loads of gorgeous heart-shaped Bubble Bars and Bath Bombs, but the magical Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar everyone’s been raving about was sadly out of stock! So what did I pick up?
A few weeks ago I made my first Lush purchases and a love affair began. I had to get more, especially as the new Christmas range has launched. Glitter, festive scents, and a legion of snowmen and angels have taken over the stores and are just waiting to bring you some festive cheer and brighten up the darker months!
I nipped into the Trafford Centre store this weekend for a browse and just had to take some pictures of the stunning displays!
So I finally did it! After years of walking past stores or going in then running out, completely overwhelmed by the choice, I finally stayed in a Lush store long enough to make a purchase. Excited doesn’t quite sum it up!
