In October I wrote about how I’d got out of the habit of posting about my monthly product use-ups, resulting in a back log of Empties which I intended to split across two blog posts. Well finally I’ve got my act together (sort of) to bring you the final installment and today I’ll be giving you the low-down on the products I used over late summer.
January can be a dull month. The Christmas holidays are over, the decorations are down, and the mornings seem darker than ever. Cue Birchbox to brighten up your day with a box full of beauty treats and help banish those January blues!
For £12.95 Birchbox delivers a monthly box chocful of beauty products – including samples and full sized items – for you to put to the test. It’s a great way of discovering new brands and trying out the latest launches. The January theme is ‘Sprinkle Happiness’ but have Birchbox managed to bring some happiness into my life with this month’s box? Read on to find out!
The August Birchbox has arrived with a difference… Instead of the beauty products being tucked inside a box they have treated us to a lovely neoprene makeup bag, that will be a handy addition to your summer travels.
Birchbox is a beauty subscription service that delivers a different selection of beauty samples and treats direct to your door each and every month. Costing £12.99 it’s a great way to try out the latest beauty products and discover new brands.
So what goodies were tucked inside my Birchbag this month?
If you’re going to a festival this summer I can’t promise you sun, or guarantee that the Headliners will show up, but when it comes to beauty must-haves i’ve got your back with a selection of products that will help your weekend go smoothly. So whether you’re heading to Latitute this weekend, Leeds Festival later in the month, or any other outdoor event, check out my list of beauty essentials!
I’ve followed Yes To since they were relatively new to the market here in the UK and very early on have been a fan of their affordable, effective, natural products. Already a convert to their Tomato range I was really happy when, earlier this year, I won a competition and received some of their Yes To Cucumber Products.
It’s the first of November which, apart from having a cracking hangover if you attended a Halloween party, means only one thing; an empties post!
Read on and find out what I used up this month and, more importantly, what I thought!
Today I have another review I’ve had in the pipeline and have been meaning to bring to you for quite a while. Yes To is a natural skincare brand based in San Francisco, USA, that I was first introduced to when I received their Cucumber Facial Wipes in my April Birchbox. I’m not normally a fan of facial wipes to be perfectly honest but with their natural formula and the way the wipes gently but effectively removed my makeup my head was turned – I definitely had to explore more from this brand. So I went on a little splurge to see what else I could find!
Well June is now here and it’s that time of the month when I give you a round-up of all the products I’ve used up and my opinion of them.
I have various use-ups this month, and it’s a mixed bag of products I love and will definitely buy again, and others that I was less keen on. So who are the keepers? And which products will be left on the shelf next time I go shopping?
